I'm not really sure where to begin, or how to end, so it may be best just to tell you what it is that I am addressing. A dear friend to many of us has been lost. I don't mean that he has only left the forums he joined, either. He no longer walks the Earth in his old form.

For those of you who went to NSider, you may have known Quill in one form or another. He had many accounts so you probably met him at some time but you didn't know it.

You see, Quill was a great guy. He had a lot of friends, even though he wasn't too well known. Sadly, he also had a great deal of problems.

The murder of two of his best friends in January of 2005 was the start of everything. Over the course of the year, he lost three relatives: two to cancer, one to AIDS. This is traumatic to anyone, especially a teenager.

Fast forward to February of 2006. After a nearly five year relationship with his boyfriend, he knew that unless he got out of it, he'd be severely hurt or worse. The violent, traumatic end to something that started so lovingly wore on Quill even more.

There was more and much of it I neither knew nor understand. Quill's situation was complicated to say the least. Needless to say, after dealing with so much in such a small amount of time, it's a wonder he dealt with it as long as he did. It speaks volumes on his courage and character.

Recently, there was a funeral held to say goodbye to one of the funniest and most respectable people I've ever known. Though we will not speak to him again in life, we must remember the good things that made him such a unique individual. Quill, while he may not be with us in a familiar way anymore, sees us through new eyes. I hope we may all see him again too, and hope that he is able to have a better life than the one he was forced to endure for so long.

Please reply and pay your respects, friends of Quill and anyone else who wishes to do so.

Actually, there was already a thread on this the day he committed suicide...

I apologize. I just felt that, since I told his AIM buddies, I should also tell the people here who might've known him.
