Fighter’s Union Story: Long ago, before the beginning of recorded history, tales still linger about a mighty guild of warriors, bonded to each other by metal and skin alike. No matter the race, no matter your culture, if you were a warrior you found your place in this guild. For many years this guild held the grip of power for no force could oppose them. For many years this guild has fought and bled with one another, but were never defeated. It was the leader of the guild was the mightiest of all, for his agility and strength combined with tuned mind. He was the most fierce warrior known to walk the earth. These fighters were trained to do honourable battle, and for those who witnessed would declare them true warrior poets. Many trembled to the vibrations of their drum, and when the air was filled with the echoes of their horn the enemy’s feet turned to cement and their hopes of victory shatter instantly. For many years they traveled undefeated until suddenly, tragedy struck. The leader of the guild was assassinated. He received an arrow in the neck, then two more in the chest because he didn’t die. The guild since then has faded away, lost in the winds of time as new armies grew and took the guild’s place. The mighty guild was forgotten, even it’s name was lost. This was history before history, and now times have changed. A young boy hears the tales of this guild from his grandfather, a marvellous storyteller which captivated the boy’s mind. Filled with stories of conquest and battle, the young boy begins to lust for the adrenaline rush of battle. Years later, the young boy who grew into a man, lived a life he never wanted. The glory of battle spat on him as his entire family was killed while he was blamed for the murder. Locked away for years until he finally escaped with a few others, the young battle hardened man had little emotion and was torn from failure. In a random decision, the man decided to join a tournament. About half way he was eliminated, not because he was overpowered, but outsmarted he was. Angered by his lost he left the tournament as a failure. As he left and sought a place where he could fade away he stumbled across his old village. Entering his house, he felt alone, the quiet soul needed a family. He found a book his grandfather wrote about the famous guild, he read it and suddenly he felt like a kid again. The visions of the guild’s leader struck his mind, both strong and smart, calm and fierce, the man could only wish he could be this icon. The next year, the man joined the tournament once again, this time he was more focused. Seeing his past mistakes he corrected them and he was declared champion of the tournament. Suddenly he felt something, his victory felt somewhat empty with no one to celebrate it with. The man needed a family, needed someone he can relate to. The idea sprung into his head faster then an arrow, he could erect a guild in honour of the might guild in the stories. Wondering what to call his guild, he decided on the name “Fighter’s Union” a name suitable for any warrior. With the goal of surrounding himself with the best fighters out there, he wanted to relive the glory of his grandfather’s tales. Where this story ends, a new one begins. Will you become a legend? Or will you become something more… Ranks: If you wish to advance in rank, you must complete a few battles first. -Recruit: *The backbone of the entire guild, but a low ranked fighter none the less.* -Fighter: *The heart and soul of the guild, you hold your head up high as you proudly proclaim your guild. You are a fighter, and no one can take that away from you.* -Advanced Fighter: *If you show skills in your battles, you will become an advanced fighter. You not only fight battles with your body, but also with your mind. You’re more experienced which makes you a force to be reckoned with. -Elite: *Your skills are legendary, your name is known across the land. Your skills have increased as your time being an Advanced Fighter, now you’re one step higher and better then ever. -Master: The upholder of the guild, what they say goes. Masters rarely fight, but when they do you see why they’re one rank above Elites. They possess the precise talent and knowledge of battle, and will use it when needed. -Leader: The man in the story, he has dreams like everyone else. He may not be the best fighter in the guild, but it doesn’t take away from his skill. Character sheet: (Titles marked by * are optional) Name: Age: Sex: Weapons: *Appearance: *Bio: The Fighter’s Union is on the attack list… If we outnumber you or if you outnumber us, consider your days numbered… |

Name: Vincent Age: 26 Sex: Male Weapons: A broadsword, and a thin short sword, both forged by himself. He also has throwing knives and an odd assortment of tools. Appearance: Vincent usually gives the impression of a weather-hardened drifter. He wears a tattered gray shirt, with faded green pants, torn on one leg and showing numerous scars. He wears a light brown cape, that usually wraps around his body. Bio: Vincent wanders around the land, with no apparent destination. He visits town and sets up temporary blacksmiths. He learned weapon-making at a young age. He was kicked out of his home around the age of 14, and lived on the streets of his town until he was 19. At 19, he left the village and became the drifter he is today. Although he is 26, he appears alot older, having the rugged look of one who travels alot. He stumbled across the Fighter's Union, and simply joined it on a sudden impulse. He follows his gut and usually doesn't think too much about what he does. He doesn't speak much, but he will speak his mind. |

It was a small place, but it'd do just fine for now. Sedalb entered the Fighters Union building, a small military stile training facility. With every last coin of his prize money was spent on building this building, and if things went well, expansions would come. It was a simple building. It had a mess hall, sleeping quarters, two training areas and an armory to store weapons. Now all they needed were new recruits, people he could surround himself and train to become the best of the best. |

Fold was wandering around like he usually does. He turns a corner and sees a small building with a strong looking warrior type standing in front of it. He approaches and asks, "Whats this?" |

While he looked at the building, he was approched by another man. This man was taller then him, but the thing that caught Sedalb's attention was the cloth wrapped around the man's eyes. At first, Sedalb thought of telling him that this was not for him, but he heard tales of blind warriors. Not yet sure if this man was a fighter, he might as well tell him what this building was. "This is for the members of the Fighters Union, a guild created to bring fellow warriors together. So far I'm the only member, but I just started today so I feel we'll get more members." he then paused, then asked the question, "Are you interested?" he asked, wondering what responce he'll get. |

Sedalb didn't belive it. Either this man was skilled or perhaps he was really stupid. No matter, he'll find out later on in the day. "Excellent, come on in while I put your name in the member's list." he said, walking inside hoping the man would know where to go. Sedalb stood in the mess hall beside a book. On the pages were lines where the members write down their names. *This guild will not be forgotten like the last* he thought as he waited for the blind man. |

A tall bird like creature clad in armor but carrying a small hammer appears in front of Sedalb. "Am I to assume you are the leader of the fighter's Union? I am Will Taylor of the Crystal army, and I'm here to request an alliance with the Fighter's Union. Do you accept?" |

Fold entered the building following Sedalb. Paying no attention to the bird-like creature, he wrote his name down in the book with surprising penmanship. |

As he waited, a sudden appearance from some sort of bird/human appeared infront of him. The creature soon spoke and Sedalb was sure to listen. The creature's name was Will Taylor and he seemed to be apart of the Cyrstal Army. Sedalb heard stories of this Army, he was impressed that someone from the army came so soon on the day word of the Fighter's Union got out. "An alliance?" he repeated, thinking about his current standings. He just started a guild and now someone wants to make an alliance with him. It could benifit him, creating more advertisement for their guild allowing stronger fighters to join, but it may also be a trick to luring him into a false sense of security. "Sure, I accept but under one condition..." he slowly smiled, a wikid grin was painted on his face. "You must fight me." he drew both of his swords out and stood in his battle ready stance. He wasn't about to explain his reason for his action, but he wondered what path this messenger would take. |

"... as you wish." Will said, getting his hammer out. "Be wary, however; looks can be decieving." He stood, waiting for Sedalb to attack first. |

*This should be fun* he thought as he shifted from defence to offence. *He seems to be waiting for me, I don't want to dissapoint him* he thought grinning as stepped forward. He ran towards Will, noticing the large hammer *heh, he won't win by sheer strength* he thought as he quickly leaped in the air. He lifted his knee and aimed to smash it ontop of Will's head. |
