Loden walks down the ramp to see if he can see will coming, but in stead sees a blue haired man walking around near his ship. Who could that be?...

Will neared the ship and saw the capitain waiting. Aww crap, I'm never gonna hear the end of this... Will met up with the captain, setting the two down on the deck. "Sorry I'm late- who is that? Should we get rid of him?" Will said, noticing the man inspecting the ship.

Loden saw Will approach and cringe. He smiled inwardly. He liked reprimanding people. Not just to be mean, but he liked knowing he had power. He wouldn't be too hard on his friend, though. He then noticed the two people he was carrying. "Guests?" Without waiting for an answer, he stepped off the ramp. "Bring then up. I'll talk to this man and then we'll sail."

I'm hopelessly lost again... Jekatarina slowly walked towards the docks, with her left hand on her rapier, Argent. She attracted a handful from stares as she moved, her rapier, her clothes, and her attitude all pointing at her being wealthy. She looked somewhat nervous as she glanced around. Where is it? Haswar and Soren are hopelessly drunk...they won't help any. She almost stumbled when she saw what she was looking for. Spilling the contents of her side-bag, searching for a piece of paper. Finding it, she pulled it to her face, and compared it to the ship she was staring at. "This is it...The Angel."
---
Jekatarina approached Will and Loden, smiling. "Greetings! Would either of you know where I could find the captain?"

Loden looked surprised at the sudden appearance of this woman. "I'm the captain. Who are you and what do you need?"

Jekatarina coughed. "You're the captain? You appear to be rather young..." She doesn't answer his questions.

Jekatarina coughed. "You're the captain? You appear to be rather young..." She doesn't answer his questions.

Loden ground his teeth at the comment about his age. He spat out, "Yes. I'm the captain. I've been on this ship my entire life, and I've been captain for the past few years. Now, if you would be so kind as to tell me who you are and what the heck you want."

Jekatarina snapped her fingers. "You will not speak to me in such a way, boy! I am Jekatarina Asdis, of the prosperous Asdis family! I have come seeking passage on your vessel, The Angel at the request of my father. However, I am beginning to doubt his judgement!"

Loden was about to blow up, but took a few breaths. He decided to see how much she needed a ride. "Fine. Go find another ship to catch a ride on. It won't make a difference to us." He crossed his arms and waited for her answer.

Kio peeked his head from behind Loden and Will to see who the newcomer was, already taking a liking to her because she could so easily infurate the capatain like that.

Jekatarina took a few deep breaths. "Fine, then. I've been instructed to board The Angel. No other ship will do. How much do you wish to charge me?" She taps her feet impatiently, waiting for an answer.

Again, Loden smiled inwardly. "Well, I'm not exactly sure how much to charge for a ride. We've never done that before... How much you got?"

Jekatarina runs a finger through her hair before speaking. "I'd like to think I have enough." She reaches into her side bag, and pulls out a small black box, and opens it for Loden. Inside is a gorgeous silver ring, with a large sapphire in the middle. The sapphire, however, is completely black. "I would like to think this is worth the trouble."

Loden leans forward to get a better look in the box. Very nice. This is the first black sapphire I've seen since that small one father had to sell for repairs. "Well... I supposed it'll be enough. That'll get you to the next port anyways. But don't think you won't have to work. Our deck hasn't had a good scrub in quite some time..."

Kio starts to laugh, softely, at the thought that this girl, who paid for her trip, would have to work while on board. While Kio, on the other hand, doesn't hasn't had to do anything for a free ride.

Jekatrina withdraws the box. "If you honestly expect me to work, than you are deadly mistaken. The sapphire alone is worth more than enough to buy twenty ships."
