Jekatrina withdraws the box. "If you honestly expect me to work, than you are deadly mistaken. The sapphire alone is worth more than enough to buy twenty ships."

Loden became annoyed at the antics of this girl. "Well fine! Go bye a ship or 8 if you can afford them. Good luck finding a crew that won't make you work anyway!" Loden turned around and started to walk back up to the ship, when he saw Kio. "Who are you?!"

Kio wrote down his name in very fine script on a piece of paper, then showed it to Loden.

Kio wrote down his name in very fine script on a piece of paper, then showed it to Loden.

Loden took the piece of paper and read his name. "So, I guess somebody like you wouldn't just climb aboard without being invite by a crew member... So you'll have to do your share if you want to stay aboard. Nobody gets a free trip!"

Jekatarina cleared her throat. "Excuse me. Excuse me! Do not walk away from me!" She walks between Kio and Loden, facing Loden. "You will either accept my offer and conditions, or I will force my way onto your ship!"

Jekatarina cleared her throat. "Excuse me. Excuse me! Do not walk away from me!" She walks between Kio and Loden, facing Loden. "You will either accept my offer and conditions, or I will force my way onto your ship!"

Loden became infuriated when the woman barged her way in front of him. He couldn't believe the disrespect this woman was giving him, when she was the one in need of something. "That's enough! One, you never offered conditions. I offered and you are the one who refused! Two, if you force your way onto my ship, not only will the entire crew be ordered to attack you, after you are soundly defeated we will take anything of value you have, including the ring, and throw you overboard. Three, this is my ship, I will run it my way, and if you have a problem with it, get off!

Kio goes on a box, then sits down and closes his eyes, so that it looks like he's napping.

Jekatarina stood flabbergasted. "N...no one talks to me in such a way...I will give you the ring, as well as my own, slightly less valuable emerald ring, along with all the money on my person in exchange for passage and pardon from physical labor."

Loden is shocked at the sudden change. He closes his mouth, waits a moment, and then answers. "That's fine. Please hand me the payment now, and I'll let you on."

Jekatarina hands Loden the box, as well as a leather bag containing a fair amount of gold. She removes her black, leather glove and hesitates before removing a silver ring with a fairly large emerald from her ring finger and handing it to Loden. "Is that enough?"

"Sure is. You can either wait on deck while he burn the town, or ask Yuki, then only other girl, where her cabin is. It has a few extra beds for other girls to sleep in there also. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have further business to take care of." Loden walks back down and towards the man with the blue hair. This ring must mean something to her. She didn't even mention it until she had no choice. And even then she hesitated... I wonder where she's going...

Kio opened one eye, surprised how quickly the conflict ended, he then got out his sketch pad and quill. Then, with a look of great concentration, he started to sketch something.

Jekatarina sighed. "Yes, captain." She walked over to Kio, sat down, and sighed again. "Who exactly are you, then?"

Kio shrugged, he had no idea what Loden would try to make him do on the ship, though he knew he wouldn't be doing it.

Sahar looked at Loden,"I take it that you are the captain of this ship?"He asked politely.
Chizuru slipped on the ship quietly, not making a sound as she brought the rope and blade back to her.She looked around, hiding in the shadows until she found an opening, slipping below deck.

((Sorry it takes so long for me to reply. My computer is messed up.))

No free trip? Who are these people? Are they...pirates? These questions and many more surrounded Andvari and Dorthey and they walked up to the captain. They could only pray that they weren't hostile to anyone of the Royal Knights of Elonath.

"Pardon me, sir. My name's Andvari. And my companion here is-"

"Dorthey. I can answer for myself, kid." She added.

He only ignored her. "I'd like to join your crew, and I will do anything it takes to do it. I'm a very skilled fighter and musician, and my friend is quite an accomplished magette and chef. What do you say?"
