"Eh?" Shamshel whirls around with his claws ready, then sees Yvette. "Oh, not yet. But there is some nearby."

Yvette steps backwards, startled. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea... "T..that's good to hear. I have a canteen, so if the water is clean, we can bring some back to the others..."

Shamshel nods gruffly, then heads off in a direction, still letting string down. He stops and listens, then heads a bit more to the left, still going forward.

Yvette follows after him as best as she can keep up.

Shamshel keeps going forward, stopping every few yards to listen and make adjustments to his course.
He then takes a hard right, and stops abrutely at what he sees.

Yvette slams into Shamshel, not expecting him to stop. "Oww!" She picks herself up off the ground. "Why did you stop?"

Shamshel didn't respond, geniuely dumbfounded at what he saw.
It was a large clearing, large than any town founded by the humans. On one side there was a large river that was clearly teeming with fishes, even from their distance that could be seen. The most mysterious thing about it though was the giant ruin that was there. It had a large entrance and seem to go into the sky for miles, easily as tall as High Castle of Deru, and with markings covering every inch of it.
"I think," Shamshel says, "this may be a good thing to explore."

"Should we go back and tell the others?". Yvette barely spits out the words, confused by what she sees.

Shamshel nods, ties the string very tightly to a branch, another branch, and the trunck of the tree. "Let's go," he says, still in shock, and follows the string.

When they both return to camp, Shamshel unties the string from Kio's sword and says to everyone, "follow me."
Kio, noticing the shocked expression on Shamshel's face, something he has never seen, nods and gets up.
Lilim asks what he found, but Shamshel just said "you need to see it for yourself."

((and now I'm off to do homework and stuff, away!~))

remind me again?
Brandt stood up, brushing himself off. "What is it?" he asked as Rian jumped to his shoulder.

How many cups of sugar does it take to get to the moon?
Midan remains in the tree, yawning lazily. "What did you find; a ball of yarn to play with? Oh, never mind, you've got yourself one of those already." Midan says, mildly laughing, still lazily lounging on the branch. "You guys go on you're wild goose chase; I'll stay here so when you come back realizing it was a dead end, I'll be all rested up to look for another one."

"Rest up then . . . I'm sure you need it." Brandt said without turning to look at the demon, walking after the others.

"If it is the real thing, it will be heavily gaurded; you'll be one of the first to die." Midan said chuckling to himself.
