Argh! Have at it yee scallywags!

Me, personally, I'm Agnostic-brought up as a Christian.

Not Agnostic completely in the "There might be or might not be a God".

More like a Nontheist?
Nah.

More like I believe in being Spiritual.

Too full to explain. :3

Be that as it may, I'm Lutheran. So 'Protestant,' I guess.

I'm an atheist in the sense that I'm not a theist, perhaps not in the sense of knowing for certain that the supernatural does or doesn't exist. I have the same view of deities that I have of unicorns and elves.

Only in the sense that I'm agnostic about everything, then. I can't be absolutely certain that 2+2=4, but I'm willing to say that it is the case. If you brought me evidence to the contrary, I might be willing to be swayed on the point, but I doubt such evidence is forthcoming. And so it is with the existence of supernatural things.

Atheism is defined as either a rejection of theism (which I fit) or a belief that there is no God (which I fit). Agnosticism is a term I eschew because it has the unfortunate quality of expressing great doubt, whereas I have very little.

Heh, funny -

I talked with my Fiance about religion the other day, and I knew she was Wiccan because of her best friends and the fact that she has it as her religion on her profile.. well, okay that's false - I didn't know if she really was, or if it was just her profile.

Turns out she really is.

Just doesn't practice it as much because she moved away from her.. er.. Coven? I think that's what it'd be called.

I think it adds to the sexy, really.

Anyway -

Out of all Abrahamic Religions, I'm inclined to like Judaism.
I was never brought up hardcore Christian, though.. just hardcore Conservative. YOU MEAN YOU COULDN'T TELL?!

I am more or less very Moderate with everything, and believe that I should only concern my self with my immediate surroundings before I let the bigger picture - such as God and the Government - really make me sweat.

In other words, I don't care what goes on anymore - I'm more concerned with supporting my family-to-be and being happy about things.

For some people, though, being happy means going to church or debating Politics.

I guess mine's just being a Hubrisite.

What if you're a Unitarian Universalist, thereby most of the sermon is spent debating politics?

And thanks for the star. That brings my count up to... one. B)

No, I was sure I gave you quite a few around this time of the year last year. :]

Oh, and you know me - Start to bring up a good point, I'm going to call you silly.

There are no good points.

Though to answer it seriously -

I think Unitarians are a joke.

It's sort of a weird hippy excuse to be religious while claiming not to be religious.

"We're just spiritual, man.. we believe in connecting with one another."

That's fine.

Just stop trying to act like you can be Buddhist, Christian, Taoist, and Muslim at the same time.

Or maybe I'm getting them wrong.

'maybe'.

I like Pagans, though.

I'm inclined to agree with Hubris on his thoughts on life. It's not too much of an inconvenience to me, the bigger picture. If it was too much of one, I'd try to change it.

I'm happy and thankful foremost for what I've got. Economically, I'm on top, living in the West. My country's not as socially backwater as most, I've got some freedom, living space. I've got employment opportunities. I've got the resources and intellect to stimulate my mind and the opportunity to challenge my mind daily with this place, among other things. I've got hockey stars and footballers to look to. Life's OK. For me anyways. Sucks to be on the receiving end of the world though.

Even though I score as crazy anarchist on the Policompass, and politically, I basically am, I think I would actually defend my country with my life. Whatever/. It's worth it considering how much better Canada is then say - Saudi Arabia (no offense).

Besides, IRL I'm really calm and such so no need to change that.

Anyways ...

Personally I wouldn't go to protect my nation in a foreign War, but if danger was brought to my immediate surroundings or if we were actually and legitimately invaded - I'd stand up, and I know my other half would have no problem with that.

Yet, I've slowly become to just accept that I won't fight this war overseas just because my Government thinks it's right. I'll support my Government in the best ways I can otherwise, and I'm extremely for and supportive of those who are over there bleeding, dying, and crying for Politics and (in some legitimacy) a form of quasi-getting back at the ass holes that poked our eye out in the first place.

Though, honestly, I'd feel much better if the world were much more regulated on it's own rather than a top tier either elected or unjustly propped up.

Then, again, so long Dictators exist in this world - I will always be perfectly fine with the World's many fine Establishments known as Governing Bodies.

Though, I don't like the UN. It's a piss poor excuse for a World Body - It's more of a Sunday Social.. or a book club, and hardly does it have any real influence outside of swaying a bunch of stupid Unitarians.

Yep.

I think that's why I got tired of RP'ing nations for awhile there.

Because I didn't even want to bother 'thinking' into Governments anymore.

Yeah on the foreign war thing. I wouldn't mind doing an important national security job (intelligence?), no real objectives to that kind of work, even in the present climate.

Ditto on the UN. It kind of sucks. Course, considering how many broad viewpoints it has to deal with it's no wonder it gets somewhere between zero and zero done.
