Hahahhah~!! I see you guys are facing the same problem as I do in the past. It was so obvious when in secondary 2, questioning myself, why am I in BB? For what very reason I continue to join? Well, that reason by that time was friendship, my friends that continue to pull me in. I was really grateful for that. They keep encouraging me to go and talk about the upcoming activities. That really make it all different and there was that excitement I felt in heart. Therefore, friends are important, they can encourage and support each other, but never forget to lend them a hand when they are in times of trouble. That is why your sergeant major has been giving a great effort in maintaining a great relationship with all of the members in the Boys' Brigade. Even S/Sgt. Kho tries his very best to do that. S/Sgt. Gordon and S/Sgt. Chang give their best shot in doing so. Even I am trying to do that, maintaining a great relationship with all but do you think that is easy? Of course, all hard works pay and I'm sure they can't keep doing that for you and me. It's up to the young generation now, to continue and pull the young energy of BB.

Did you know why you guys always find BB activities boring? Even though I tell you BB activities have been drastically changed since the year we were into BB, a lot of new events have been introduced but still the members will never be satisfied. Instead, they are easily satisfied by something else. You and the rest of members. You guys are the one that make all the differences. You see even with the best planned activities for the boys in the company will never guarantee their satisfaction and having fun time if the one who leads is not as energetic and enthusiastic. If you guys can smile, they will to. If you guys play hard, they will follow up. If you guys are discipline and serious, they will shut their mouth up. If you guys are crazy, they will go mad as well. But if you guys are boring, they will look like dead men. Example is still the best way of telling the boys what you want them to do and what should they be. It can impress others but also, discourage others. It's just up to those examples, whether to set a good one or a bad one.

God has make all things different every day but have you notice them? If you did, did you share with the rest? It all depends on how you view your lives and the choice to choose the path is within you. You could choose to be sad, down and lazy throughout the whole parade but you can also choose to be happy, excited and great in the parade! It's all up to your choice of choosing which path to be taken. I know it's been difficult, setting a good example, trying to get something done to your best of ability or even just coming to the parade. But let me tell you something, our Lord will never give temptations greater than those we could handle. Thus, I am sure you can resist the laziness and the feeling of not wanting to go if you have faith in the Father's word and strong determination at heart. Go and serve those who are in the Kingdom of the Lord! Serve them with your own capability for you are unique and special! Have faith in Him and if you do by continuing your service in BB, you shall be rewarded handsomely by our dear Father!
