Real interesting!~ but scary though, not to mention quite embarassing....

Anyway, I guess that's why most of the senior back in the past year had respect on their seniors, NCOs and officers. :great: This is exactly a good practice and one of the reason for the boys who doesn't seem to pay respect to their elders anymore However, looking at these days' approach, it does have its bad and good.

A very clear example, the boys back in the past have a feeling of respect towards their seniors but in the same time the feeling of fear and an 'obstacle' that exist between them. Therefore, NCOs and senior privates back in the past have trouble recognizing and befriending those new privates. Still, they (new privates) respect their elders and shall never to anything to embarass them.

Now, boys sure have a good relationship with senior privates and NCOs. Making the NCOs and senior privates much easier to approach them, they could know exactly what are the problems they are facing in the company and therefore take appropriate actions. Yet, being too close with them brings up negative effects where they tend to joke around with you most of the time and sometimes, unintentionally humilliate us in front of the public.

So, I proposed that we should be closed to boys when we are out of BB business where all of us are just good friends but in BB activities there should be some difference among us so as to be able to maintain the discipline practice in the company for over these years

Well, this is my opinion la :notes:

What thing makes you think that you no need to salute them? If the bible class teacher is our Officer, do we need to salute them when greet them? Of course need la~!! Paying Compliment.. We must greet our officer by saluting them and then the salute will be returned by the officer if in uniform. Can you tell me the reason why u say we no need to salute?

Well, I can understand L/Cpl. Clement's concern. Of course I believe there are others who don't know and don't bother to ask about paying compliment. And I guess mostly everyone including NCO is not familiar with these rules. I suggest these rules should be clearly explained to all NCOs and Boys and disciplinary actions should be strictly taken against those who violate this.

I guess if lcpl. clement doesn't know, other ncos also not very sure about paying compliment. i think it's important to teach paying compliment once in a while.
