hmm... i think our band shud fully utilize de bagpipes... bagpipes are unique instruments... i think shud find more ppl go learn... who wans go besides leonard??? oh ya... i wan learn de correct technique one... with all de bass and tenor one... dun wan off it de... sounds more real ma.... if always curi tulang play not loud enuf and not sat... no ohm....  2ND KUCHING PIPE N BRASS BAND... how does dat sounds??? |

we can have bagpipe in our band..and i do love bagpipe..we're going to be special from the other band from kuching ? hehe at least we have what ppl dun have...but then other than bagpipe we.can also concentrate on other instrument..which means that..we play any instrument.not only bagpipe band...this will make us MORE unique hmm..leonard..are u serious that u wanna learn..bagpipe.. not that im looking down on u..but...juz that..u're like searching for many many instruments to learn..so..sikit risau u la hehe =P |

i saw sibu scout band last sunday at church... they having rehearsal for de merdeka thing... they call themselves bagpipe band oso... i think our band shud make banner or wad la... sticker oso can la... stick on de drum or hang on de drum... like last time... de sidedrums all got BB logo one... now one dun have... we dun just focus on bagpipe lo... like penang one... den other songs knot play oso ma... we make it pipe n brass band... anyone support me??? hhehehe... |

i support...if u go and see on thi thursday at padang merdeka..u will see a school named Victoria Institution ...they have 60 members playing woodwind and brass and percussion...and 20 memebrs playing bagpipe ...that will be nice hehe =P |

i think it's all right to change...special... when ppl hear it, "wow...i never hear this type of band...i think it must be special" how about 2nd Kuching BRASS and PIPE Band? |

2nd kuching pipe and brass band sounds more syoke haha =P click here this is the VI the school im mentioning with bagpipes..u will see they have it hehe see how they play jigli nonya and rasa sayang haha |

shud buy reeds for bagpipe lar... now wan learn oso knot...all reeds spoil la... zao sia la... cacat la... i tot last time wo dennis say de reed same as chinese traditional instruments one??? if cant find den buy from 1st sibu lar... |

nigel, the reed u bring home then get very hot water n throw inside bout 30 minutes....... tat's wat s/sgt bong told me b4 the founder's day thingy........ MUST buy new reed ler.... they old one can't really use very fast the air in the bag no more............ u can ask gordon oso.............. oso.... u know the bagpipe bite one place so geli ler.... can get new one o not???? replying ah shan, hrmmm wat u said mayb true........ i dunno wat instrument suitable for me. tat's y i from bell>flute>bell>bagpipe................   btw, nigel i got the like fingering chart dennis last time showed me one......... very good.... cause is more than wat we know..........
