BEFORE YOU VOTE : I updated this design after refering to ideas by the band members.... i created another black logo.... now, i have changed the name to '2nd Kuching Company Pipes & Brass', with the 'Band' omitted.... and the two cats have been enlarged.... BLUE  BLACK  ...then i put this logo inside the tshirt and found 2 more choices.... after i lightened the stickman and mace to grey we have : 1) BLACK sleeves with BLACK Logo  2) NAVY BLUE sleeves with NAVY BLUE Logo  3) BLACK sleeves with NAVY BLUE Logo  4) NAVY BLUE sleeves with BLACK Logo  ...and i dont want anyone to complain 'y are they all black? i dun see any NAVY blue' to me.... my LCD says it's definitely navy blue... go check out ur monitor settings or experts should tweak their display card drivers.... (hey, even if u cant see the colours u could imagine the colors urself and choose ur favourite, or better still, send or copy the picture to a mobile phone to see better colors, preferably symbian or sony ericsson phones... mobile phone lcd screens display better colors than ur analog monitor) My survey shows that choice 3 is the best.... now vote your favourite... remember, ur choice makes a lot of diffrence.... all the band members are waiting for u to decide the best design.... results of this poll will be handed in to WO Julian to send orders for the selcted design... (our new band logo wil also depend on the selction of tshirt design above...) P.S. The presence of the term 'PIPES' in the design may not be approved by officers if our bagpipes still do not prove their usefulness... so, bagpipers are urged to improve if u want this tshirt design to be a reality... (no improvement in bagpipes = no tshirt for everybody) To prove that there IS difference between the colors: "Photoshop's RGB Color mode uses the RGB model, assigning an intensity value to each pixel ranging from 0 (black) to 255 (white) for each of the RGB (red, green, blue) components in a color image. For example, a bright red color might have an R value of 246, a G value of 20, and a B value of 50. When the values of all three components are equal, the result is a shade of neutral gray. When the value of all components are 255, the result is pure white; when the values are 0, pure black. RGB images use three colors, or channels, to reproduce colors on-screen. The three channels translate to 24 (8 bits x 3 channels) bits of color information per pixel. With 24-bit images, up to 16.7 million colors can be reproduced. With 48-bit images (16 bits per channel), even more colors can be reproduced. In addition to being the default mode for new Photoshop images, the RGB model is used by computer monitors to display colors. This means that when working in color modes other than RGB, such as CMYK, Photoshop interpolates the CMYK image to RGB for display on-screen." I was working with Adobe Photoshop CS2 9.0 together with Adobe Photoshop CS 8.0 in RGB Color Mode with 8 Bits/Channel, and I collected the folowing data regarding the two colors: NAVY BLUE C 94% M 89% Y 42% K 66% R 0 G 0 B 51 #000033 BLACK C 75% M 68% Y 67% K 90% R 0 G 0 B 0 #000000 Since NAVY BLUE has a value of 0 in RED, 0 in GREEN, and 51 in BLUE, it is proved that the color is BLUE, compared to BLACK which has 0 in RED, 0 in GREEN, and 0 in BLUE. Between 0 & 255, 51 is situated very close to 0, nearing black, so it is clear that R0 G0 B51 is only made up of very little blue and no tracks of other colors (which means R0 & G0 are black and are mixed with B51 which is a little blue), thus proves it's dark blue, or else called NAVY BLUE. can we complain other things ? haha sorry ah...can we juz ..remove the star ? or maybe i 'think' too much..becoz..i think the star behind the BB logo is a bit 'too much' well..i juz love the logo with blue..i dun like the black..one..it makes..the logo..like the pirate haha... about which t-shirt to choose...i really cant imagine like what.Cpl Wee said... my monitor is lousy...haha... (im not complaning u la..im complaning my monitor dun angry with me ah =P) so i cant even choose..i cannt differenciate which wan is better whether blue or black sleeves.. but the blue logo is better !!!!!!!! u have my vote !!!!!!!!!!!!! u noe..'blue blooded' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 haha |

my question  is that "Brass n pipe" is official name? actually i dun think so lar....hehe but i got no idea for next few years or maybe it will become that...but not now ..hehe n the shadow look kinda weird...maybe different taste..  or sum idea like this......this is from radioactive shirt...one of my favorite brand...hehe and i still prefer navy blue wif grey... and the section tag.....maybe we can juz create that like "LAPD" which mean by "Los angeles police department" in " 2B*square* PD " which mean by 2nd kch BB Percussion Department and make that behind the shirt or maybe on the side of it ....hahaha juz an idea for ya.....hehe

so...we keep the name 'pipe and brass' in our cupboard 1st then few years later we take out and we use lor hehe =P so..now we need Cpl.Wee to create new t-shirt for us hehe jkjk well..make sure or confirm with W/O Julian or maybe we wait for officers to see whether we are the pipe and brass or only 'brass and woodwind' =P |

i find it quite weird if everyone in band is wearing a shirt with a picture of drum major. It's just like BB T shirt with the picture of BB officers. I like the logo, BB logo looks for cool in front of the two trumpets. since our idea is "pipe and brass", it will be good if we can add a pipe in the logo. well, that's just my personal opinion. Anyway, I would like to wear any BB T shirt designed by u guys to my university. Feel very proud to share with my american friends about the mighty BB. |

maybe u can change the 'drum major' to a 'lower brassIST' ? to make we have BRASS instrument ? hehe so..our T-Shirt is now iwthout the word 'pipe' looks how ? hehe im curiousssss to know eh.. |
