Refer to topic, please suggest some activities/award class that u wish to have on coming year for our Company. Outdoor activity, indoor activity or any type of activity will do. We're planning activities for year 2008 Example: -A hike to Mount Santubong -A Fireman course -A Canoeing course -Visiting to .... Please give some reason if can. Thanks. Suggestions are really appreciated from you all. IF you suggest it here now, it could be happened next year. If you don't then i'll never be done =) I'll only open this topic for 1 months. Please think wisely for our company. |

i wan the kind of survival camp tat Lt. Sim mention b4 de.. one person one buncho wid all the stuff u nid at the distance between every campsite is very far de.. one campsit one camper de.. den no timetable, u juz live by ur own.. SURVIVAL!! haha.. canoeing course... fire and rescue oso.. if can, archery course... wakakaka... |

if able... erm... i wish NCOs council can go 4 a trip exm,exchage acvtivity wif othr coys.. near o far oso can... nw d company activities is too ''indoor''.. |

voting for 1st choice>canoeing course for the 3rd vote 2nd choice>fireman(fire n rescue) course for the 4th vote survival camp? maybe for more senior ones only... knot on own risk la... u don't wan to c me lost in the jungle n let 2nd kch boys lose a so frenly boy boy like me right, do u? for the young ones, i don think they would find it interesting as this is more to like tough one... but fireman n canoeing is much more different...not that chi cham though they may be tough...i believe most boys will enjoy this...fireman, a good experience...  canoeing, kayaking all the way in the sea like a sailor, a more wonderful experience
 but the fee is ... u know i knowsurvival camp like camping ma...pengakap also more hiong lar...n every yr got things like camping...n only for camping badge ppl nia...how many can/will participate leh? however, army camp is more different...hehe...which uniform body offers a chance to touch those weapons n live like a soldier for a few days? PLKN got la but 3 months eh...will get bored de u kno? so...voting for army camp for the 2nd vote joining for 5 yrs, every yr award classes more or less the same...let's c wat we were offered in these yrs... -Art(abacus) -Communication(morse code & flag signal) -Citizenship -Environmental -Nature Awareness -First Aid -Safety -Camping -Physical Training Off parade -Swimming -Gymnastics -Cannoeing -Bandsman others -Drill -Christian Education erm...so far i cnt think of others liao...those off parade ones so few...long awaited fireman course has not reappeared in more than 5 years... most commong award class = i find that all i listed there are common ones  except abacus only appeared once in 5 yrsthose courses we suggested only last for a few days ler...a half yr award class...hmm...don't know yet... a shortage of instructors in the problem lor... |

d survival camp i mentioned is d same as wat clement meant....abt d communication alvin meantioned...i think wat w/o dennis doin now is quite good....soldier's way 2 communicate... |

Hmm... It's good that you guys voice out your thoughts and what you and the others want and not to miss some of fun the company should be providing. But do take note that at the same time, others are working to provide that fun to you. Perhaps some community services should be organized such as Beach Cleaning Activity or Creativity Campaign. If possible, let the boys do some cleaning process at some of the beaches or parks like Reservoir Park. We always use that park for our activities, so to show gratitude why don't we clean the park for once. It would be even better to get a recognition for our work from the Kuching City Council so as to be able to carry out the work effectively. Creativity Campaign is like giving a chance to boys to show their talent in crafting or drawing and that can even be used to get their art badge at the same time. These are some suggestions from me. I will think of more the next time I visit this forum~!
