As u can c frm d topic, i jus hav 1 question, where r the percussionists?? At d kch festival parade, is saw dat percussion not bad, steady oh, quite a few ppl.. even got tenor.. lol.. now ler?? where's everybody? bcome hollowman?? lol.. |

hrm~~ then u urself as a lance must get involve in band lo~~~ as u can c, we r nw lack of percussionist nwadays in my time, they r much more extra~~ n 1 question here for band council do we acctually need to hire a 'expired' member for our percussion? does this situation look good? dis wrds is from Lt.Desmond.... guess wad i mean.. cheers~~ |

hahaha... 'expired' i noe wad u mean... ah... i've been saying dis all along... put requirement to be nco = must be band member sui liao ma... wad so hard??? now meeting time and band time same aje... den wont have de problem of tak cukup org tuk band/percussion/wadever section liao ma... just a suggestion tho... haha... dun get offended... and chris... seriously.. u shud consider joining de band full time... its gud u noe since u got basics in drumming... and they always say dat drummers are de backbone/heart/stomach/hands/legs/bla bla bla of a band which is also true... see without drummers how cacat de band become... and also is partly because drummers are always neglected during practice... jo hamik? jiak pa wipe drum, hit drum, wipe drum (said by ssgt syl) nth much more... worse still sit der hit mosquito.. its not their fault oso... der's nth new for dem to learn (at least no one is competent enuf to teach)... its gud dat wo julian ask IMH mr talib to come n teach... after those few sessions... sgt bong come tell me he feel veri 'SONG'... neglected = not appreciated = nth new to learn = no motivation = no commitment = no drummers.... ok.. for chris.. he nid to rush to his church service at 6pm.. while he is serving as part of service.. or got gather every time b4 his church service starts... he nid to be ther around 5pm... n our parade finish at 4pm, sumtimes 4.15pm... he nid to go back, take bath, prepare... i think he must hav been late to his preparation for his church services sumtimes oso... for his case, acceptable for unable to join band.. i had my band council meeting previously n we decided to categorize members like him as special case... he is an 'another category' band member who will join our practices that are other than 4pm to 6pm one.. n allowed to involve in performance.. since, he oredy noe how to play the drum.. get it? tat's for his case.. while for the other percussionist tat are missing, i stated clearly tat dey are travelling.. not missing... juz temporary not available.. about 4 of them i think.. ok.. talking bout instructor.. b4 the IMH ppl come.. it's usualy Gabriel hu teaches or the sgts or ssgts tat are free sumtimes.. so, the 'things to learn' is kinda limited lor.. dey dun hav the 'things to learn' but can only 'practice the learned stuff' lor.. but we oredy suggested tat percussionist to learn bell when dey hav nothing else to learn.. but in the end, dey still go back to percussion section bcos dey prefer percussion much much more.. n to pretend like nothing to do.. another thing is, only 2 or 3 bell is usable.. more specific, is only 1 which is ok de.. b4, holiday season, sum of the percussionist told me dey goin traveling le.. sum say dey stay in kuching.. so i transfered sum non percussionist to percussion which promised me to stay in kuching during holiday season.. BUT! in the end, all still go traveling.. zzz left a few cats here... n the total percussionist is 6 of them... get it? the situation now? |

haha.. was gonna say y i couldn't join den eh, clement help me say liau.. haha.. thanks ah.. d prob is not every1 has free time after BB.. so.. yala.. lol.. truthfully la, vry nice oso after mr thalib came..  lol.. btw, thanks 4 d equation..  lol.. ok.. den wil dey b performin 4 recruitment?
