a pickup is just when you met a girl without the aid of an introduction. There is nothing tacky or crass about a pickup, it just shows that you were assertive and confident enough to meet a women on your own. "The term "pickup line" also has a very negative connotation to some. But to me, a pickup line can be anything that you use to strike up a conversation with a girl you are trying to meet. The pickup line could come in the form of a compliment, it could be something topical, or it my be something totally random. |
