October 19th 2008 - Well, as I'm sure you all noticed, Adversity is having some issues. We randomly converted to Zetaboards and lost nearly everything. All our old codes, including our AC, is completely gone and never to return. Not only that, but our skin disappeared with it, though I luckily have the images saved in my Photobucket account. For now I am just trying to get AV looking decent again so we can re-open. Also I will be searching for some new codes to replace the old ones. It may take a while, but I want to thank you all for being here and supporting AV during this. I know it sucks xP Also, thanks everyone who's helped me so far, I can't tell you all how much I appreciate this. -Koz. |
-How to make tables work in Zetaboards. -Money code that works, Dae supplied me with 2 but both of them don't appear to work. That's it for now. I will add things to the list as I think of them though, so keep checking in! |

Let's start out by saying...anyone remember me? Haha! I suppose I must be pretty lucky, because I know someone did. The other day I received a very sweet letter from a member here, reminding me of Adversity...Well needless to say I had no intention of coming back. But then things changed... The Reason... I only left in the first place because of several things. First was a beautiful brand new Ford Focus car...that got wrecked. Oh yes. Smashed. Crushed. Dirty. The whole thing. More on that later though. Any way, me being safe and sound gets my butt grounded for weeks and on top of such pissed parents, and high insurance, not a good combination mind you. Next came everyone's favorite- school. Of course. But this school year brought some good news. My parents and I cut a deal. If I promised my laptop to them for a few more weeks, took three killer AP courses, sign up and participate in quiet a few clubs, and kept up A's for the first quarter, the loverly brand new looking fixed Ford Focus car called Lucy, would be mine again. Though now I like to call it Christine...but if you haven't seen that movie don't worry. Anyway, needless to say I jumped at the opportunity. But it wasn't that easy...For the first to weeks of school I SACRIFICED myself. I did nothing but school work, junior year is hard enough, put an extra 3 AP courses on it, and you have a pretty heavy cake. But that cake was so good to eat in my car. Haha! Yes I got my loverly car back! Yet...AP courses and clubs don't end with just getting back a car...now my parents threaten the insurance over my head AHHH! Its scary too....So I'm forced to work like a slave, and though I had my car and laptop back there was still no time. Needless to say...my muse was stolen. The Change... Then the I did what in Biology call 'Adapted'. I had more time in the evenings, but these times were devoted to a loving boyfriend or sleep. Most times sleep. But hey you should be proud of my boyfriend he stuck with me through all of this. Haha! Anyway, things are getting better, and I've taken up writing again, not RPing, but writing. Then as I said before I received a loverly note from a friend reminding me of a wonder place. Called....CANDYLAND....Haha! kidding, called Adversity. The Promise... I won't get in any more wrecks... XD Alright you want it I know... The Wreck I rear ended my best friend at a yeild sign. Oh yes We both stopped, and I looked behind my shoulder to see who was coming...I thought she moved...and she didn't. Scared the shit out of me...and her...But here's the thing..,she drives and old red cherokee jeep...and got a crack in her bumper and inch long. And me? A WHOLE SMASHED FRONT END...like what the hell?! And then the policeman just 'happens' to drive by....oh yes...Anyway, insurance was not happy, parents were not happy, cops thought it was funny-i didn't and yeah...just...yeah Alright so think of it like this, and big boulder is coming called Sparrow and its going to put it self right on the edge of the mountian of Adversity...oh yes. XD Final Notes.... Pirates are going to take over the world and England...mostly england. Deal with it. [don't ask XD] So hope to RP with you all soon and get back in the groove of things. =D Sparrow has grown in personality so he may change a bit, still the same, though I think I might just completely rejoin with him -shrug-. ...Lenore // Sparrow |
