Jacob skated down the street, a cigarette in his right hand. He smiled as he wove around people, having quite a few of them yell back at him to watch it. He slid around the corner and pushed off, gaining more speed. As he approached the coffee shop, he jumped off his Sector 9 and grabbed his longboard. He walked into the coffee shop and leaned his board up against the table, taking off his jacket and putting it on the chair. He walked over and got in line, looking up at the menu. |

Anya stood in line for coffee, or something of the sort, wishing nothing else that she could make the line move faster. She folded her arms across her chest and thought about why she was here. She would have much rather been running through the forest on four legs than standing impatiently in line for something to drink that wouldn't actually quench the certain thirst that was ever present. Sighing she looked up at the menu, though she already knew what she wanted. She heard footsteps come up behind her and she looked over her shoulder to see who it was. He seemed familiar, though she really couldn't place him. Myabe it was someone that she had come across at school. She continued to look back at him with greyish-black eyes as she tried to place him. |

Lily sighed. The line was long again. It always was on Saturdays... She'd been working since 6 in the morning, and it was now almost five. She hadn't had anything to eat, either. She smiled her fake cheerful smile at the boy in front of her. "What can I get you, sir?" she asked, still faking cheer. Like she always did. Like she always had to. She held back a sigh, and continued to smile as she waited for the boy to place his order. He smelled like cigarettes, one of the most repulsive scents to her, but a lot of people smoked in her coffee shop, so what was one more? |

"Ya, I'll get a small coffee, and a blood muffin," he said, totally ignoring the fact that the girl standing next to him was actually there first. He turned towards her saying, "hey, don't I know you from somewhere?" |

"Sure thing," Lily reached into her display and pulled out a blood muffin, setting it on a plate in the microwave. While that was heating up, she mixed together his blood coffee. She popped the cap on and set it on the counter, turning to get the muffin from the microwave. "Here you are, sir," she said, unable to hold back her bored tone. She peered at the girl standing practically beside him. "What can I get you...miss..." she trailed off as she realized the boy was starting a conversation with the girl, and started helping the next customer in line. |

"Oh thanks," he said to the girl behind the counter. He pulled out a 8 dollars and put it on the counter. He took his plate and his drink and turned to go back to the table. "Will you sit with me?" he asked the girl next to him. |

OOC.::You're breaking the rules. You wouldn't know either of their names yet. You need to use things like "the girl behind the counter" and "the girl standing behind him". But nice try::.OOC |

Anya turned to fully face the guy who she had been looking at, who was now speaking to her. "I think we may go to school together." She said indifferently and shrugged her shoulders. She looked over her shoulder at the girl behind the counter, ready to order, seeing as how he cut in front of her. She saw that the girl was busy with another customer and sighed. Shrugging again she followed the boy to his table, decidding that she would get something to drink in a moment when there were less people. |

Anya pulled off of her jacket and wrapped it around her chair, sinking into it and smiling one of her rare smiles. With one glance at the human next to her she began to speak. "I'm Anya. Who are you?" She asked rather bluntly. |

"Jacob. I think I'm in your history class, I'm always in the back." He said, leaning back. |

Anya nodded thoughtfully. She tried to recall if he was right. She knew enough from history from her first time taking it, so she had plenty time to let her mind wander. "Thats right, you sit in the corner, closest to the door." She commented, the memory coming to the front. "I never really saw you because you're the one always out first." She added. Then remembered to have manners. "Nice to meet you." |

"I'm not really much into school. I'll go cause I have to, but thats pretty much it." he said, taking a sip of his drink. "Do you want any?" he asked, pointing to his muffin. |

Anya resisted the urge to make a face and shook her head. "Thats alright. Thank you though." She said politely. " I tend to block out as much school as I can." She said. |

"You going to get something?" he asked, pointing to the line, which had shrunk. |
