~3 hours later~ Valeria had sat and watched the peculiar human boy the entire three hours, and he hadn't said one word to her. When they finally landed in the private airport in Dublin, she smiled and pulled him to his feet. "Don't worry about her, okay? She just needs to feed. She'll be fine and back to normal in a few hours. Until then, allow me to escort you back to the house, alright? We'll even drive for a change," she joked, knowing he'd noticed how fast Tera had disappeared. She pulled him off the plane gently, leading him to a small green car on the side of the road leading up to the airport. Behind them, Valentin disappeared into the trees with Tera ripping and snarling at him, begging him to let her feed off her singer. Valentin was silent, though, carrying her off into the trees, where he found a nice, large, cow for her. She was out of his arms and sucking it dry before he could even blink. And still, Valeria led Alex into the car with a smile. |

Alex could feel the soft tug of Valeria's hand on his arm and he followed her. He was exhausted despite the sleep he had gotten on the plane and was ready to be able to sleep. As they were headed to the car he could hear screaming. A high pitched screaming that hurt his ears, though he couldn't really make out the words. He flinched, not looking back, his face going blank. Now that Valeria explained what was wrong with Tera he knew that it was her and had no desire to see her that way. He refused to let the fear seep through him, knowing that it was his blood that she craved when she was so hungry. Instead he forced himself to think of the moments before she had run from him as he was led into the car. |

Valeria slid into the right hand side and locked the car doors, pulling onto the road and driving towards the rather nice almost-mansion Tera had set up for them.Of course Valeria and Valentin were only there as servants, only to appear if Tera or Alex needed them, but they each had their own room, in the outdoor basement. The indoor basement would be used for Tera's quiet thinking space, or Alex's as the case may be. ~Meanwhile, in the forest left behind them~ Tera had finished draining the cow and stumbled around, almost drunkenly, before her amber eyes came to stay on Valentin. "Valentin...I...almost killed him..." she murmured, tears rimming her eyes. He nodded, silently, and reached out for her hand. She took it, and he gently tugged her back towards the airport. "Thank you for warning me..." she mumbled, following behind him obediently. Suddenly, he scooped her up and took off at a run, trailing after the green car. Tera, held bridal-style by Valentin, watched the back of Alex's head. How could I have forgotten to feed? It's the one thing essential to my living! she scolded herself angrily, glad to see her love alive. |

Alex looked out the window at the green hills that they were passing. There were no trees to be seen on the road they were taking and sighed. He liked trees and hoped there would be trees where they were staying. Still looking out the window at the change of scenery he thought about what Matt had told their mother, knowing that it would have been creative. There was a pang in his chest at the thought of his family. The only thing he could do to comfort himself was to think how he was saving them from harm by leaving. He closed his eyes and leaned his head against the cold window, wishing that Tera was there with him. |

Valeria pulled onto a private street that was unmarked, pressing a button to open a set of wrought iron gates before driving down to the large, red brick, house. She pulled into the driveway and parked the car, smiling. "So this is it," she said lamely, climbing out. Before Alex could even open his door, Tera had tugged it open and pulled him out and into her arms, burying her face in his shoulder. She didn't know what to say to him, so she just held him as tightly as she could manage without hurting him, taking breath after breath of his scent. Now she could control herself. Now she knew that she wanted him alive, with her, forevermore. |

Alex had looked through the windshield at the large house. His mouth formed a silent 'WOW' as the car stopped. He had his fingers wrapped around the handle to open the door, smiling over at Valeria, when the door opened of it's own accord. He looked in that direction quickly, wondering what was going on, when he was pulled from the car just as quickly, and tight arms wrapped around him. Alex smiled into Tera's hair, glad that she was finally here, in his arms once again. "Feeling better?" He whispered near her ear. |

Tera nodded, taking another breath of his scent. Truly amazing. She pulled away and smiled. "Much, thank you. So...this is the house," she said, her statement somehow sounding less lame than it had when Val had said it (mainly because of the pep in her voice that Valeria lacked). |

Alex nodded at her thanks and turned his gaze reluctantly to the house. "It's very big." He said and smiled. "Though smaller than I was expecting." He added, looking down at her. "I like it. It's the perfect size." With that he turned to find where their bags were, though he hesitated, not knowing if they were in the trunk or in the house already. The whole time he still kept one hand around Tera, not wanting to let her go, and seeing how she didn't seem to be having anymore problems he didn't worry about it. |

Tera smiled, twirling out of Alex's grip ballerina-style, and popping open the trunk of the car with the press of a button. |

Tera smiled, twirling out of Alex's grip ballerina-style, and popping open the trunk of the car with the press of a button. She tugged out both suitcases and ran up the front steps, setting them down on the porch, before turning around and running back to pull Alex up. "I don't know about you, but the first thing I'm doing is showering," she said, laughing lightly as she unlocked the front door and stepped inside with both suitcases in her arms. |

Alex laughed and followed her up the stairs. "I'm with you on that one. I would love a shower. And to put on some different clothes." He said, looking down at his severely wrinkled clothes. "I've been wearing the same clothes for the last several days." He added, more of to himself than to Tera, though he knew that she could hear him. |

Tera laughed. "Me too! And there's blood all over my shirt," she wrinkled her nose, looking down at the stains from her torn stitches. "Our rooms are upstairs," she said, starting up step by step, barely able to force out the word 'our'. Yet still, she knew, being a vampire for almost a hundred years gave you something that being human left out, and she was willing to wait as long as it took Alex to become ready. |

Alex looked down at her shirt where the blood had stained through. "I think that you are in worse shape than I am." He said, following behind her. With each step he could feel the excitement of being able to take a shower swelling. "And to be able to sleep in and actual bed will be the best thing ever." He added. |

Tera laughed at his first statement. "Perhaps. But hey, I'm alive and still somewhat kicking, so it all works out," she replied before nodding agreement. "Yes, I agree. Although, I probably won't be using my bed for sleep much, not after I've healed," she added as explanation. |

Alex laughed at her response to his observation."Somewhat kicking is better than not kicking." He thought about her last statement and wondered what that must be like. "It must be boring when you can't sleep." He said softley. |
