1.) When in a small plane, such as the ATR 42, don't fly long distances. But also don't fly too short distances. Fly a rounte between 900 to 1200 km long. Passengers don't want to fly womewhere where It'd be cheaper to drive instead.

2.) When first starting out, get several smaller planes. Not one big planes. I made this mistake. You'll get more revenue (Money generated from tickets, not the same as profit) with several small planes than with one big plane.
