I've decided I'm gonna stop listening to contemporay US Hip Hop. I'm so sick of it at the moment. My friend sent me loads of new US Hip Hop instrumentals the other night. I almost cried lol. Some of the bulls**t that's coming out now is terrible. There were alot of songs where the beat was literally just one drum loop. I could re-create that in about 5minutes, there's nothing to it? One of my mates was like "i love this hype music, it's great" I turned round and just said to her "what the f**k?" The one beat inparticular is an E-40 track, I don't remember the name though. There's so much crap coming out now a days, they giving Hip Hop a bad name. And I'm sick of it. Ok, tirade iver lol.

there's still alot of talent and potential in hip-hop so i can't say it's dead completely. The Dj's and labels are what is killing it because real artists can't get heard these days as much as they should

can't stay underground forever. Unless you wanna be a broke rapper all ur life. Common is a good example of staying real but still havin that commercial appeal by having an album with good beats from kanye.
