Well i thought both of the first verses wernt the real shit, it was gettin warmed up and gettin the proper shit for the second verses - which happend, so afta one verse each i was slightly in favour of Skillz due to some nice punches and a more polished verse. Skillz stepped up a lot more in the second first, tookie was lookin pretty done, but u know him he hadta go and pull sum crazy buzzer-beating shit, and in the end, momentum was with Tookie and it pushed him over the edge, it was hard to vote though, closest battle ive voted in ever. First round - i read skills verse and thought yeh he did his thing, he came with personals multis n punches no real wordplay tho. One word of advice to anyone that battles tookie tho, NEVR use his name as a rhyming word because what u can rhyme it with is limited and will sound very elementry and played out. Tookie came in with a massive wordplay on his second line which hit hard after that he was basicaly just clowning on skills, he had the personals but in this verse they didnt really hit as hard. A good round 1 anyways and i give it to tookie Second round - Again Skills used Tookies name name for a rhyming word, he used it as a wordplay which is good but trust me its played, i cypherd with Tookie over msn and used the exact same TOOK E concept once every one who battled tookie will think about using that i guarentee u. so u had a weak couple of lines just because of that. the next couple of lines were mediocre till u got to .. ’ll escort you like an “usher” cuz I know the first round still “burns” Just like puttin the 4 fifth 2 ya chest like JORDAN's RETURN/ (#45) that was nice and then this.. I dont see how the tookie lines is played just because YOU used it before when i've never battled him but whatever....and damn if that wordplay ain't nice then the world must be coming to an end lol....for real for real. But it's all good tho. This ain't a huge site like rapbattles.com or anything so i'm not trippin. If i would've known tookie's lines would've got voted on like that then i would've spit somethin different so i can know how ppl vote in here. it's all good tho, i'll keep that in mind in the future. |
