I'm 19 years old, born and raised in Ashford, Kent. I've been writing lyrics for 6 years, then started making beats about 3 years ago and I've been rapping a year ago this month! I'd say my main influences are Common, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Linkin Park, Stevie Wonder, Shystie, Ms Dynamite, Floetry...And so many more lol. I didn't plan to become a rapper, I was happy writing and producing, but I became so sick of some of the UK artists that were coming out at the time, so I decided to make music that I wanna hear, and here I am lol. The name ShyChlo was given to me as a nick name about 4 years ago to describe my split personality ShyChlo/Psycho. Coz I can be real shy and quiet but then I can also be loud and full of energy lol. Bascially the name stuck, because I like it, everyone calls me it and I couldn't be assed to think up a rapping name haha. Here's a little list of things I've done over the last year: * Put out an album "Living In Fear" which you can cop for Ł4 from www.madnessstore.2ya.com. * Had a cameo in Nutty P's video for "London News II" * Did my first show on Wednesday night! With Nutty P, Inner Circuit, Asharia Soul, Mumble Arts, Xei and D'Neo. Future plans... I'm gonna start on my next album, I'm planning to get as many people on that as possible, all the artists and producers who I feel are dope right now and people I work well with. I'm still making beats for people, currently doing a few tracks for Suspence MC, Nutty P and Mumble Arts. And hopefully I'll be doing more gigs too. It's weird to me too coz I don't see it like that lol. Coz these people are my friends. And if my friends are talented them Ima work with them. And it works both ways, because I'm friends with people we help eachother out musically. It's like you and me Joel, I wanna do a track with you coz I think you're good. I don't care how known or unknown an artist is, I just worked with talented people who I can vibe with.
