I have to call this a tie, because you're writing styles are so different but equally good. I mean Skills came good with the punches, but LG had good, overall, lyrically solid verses. Tie!

Outstanding Citizen Posts: 424 Group: Members Member #10 Joined: April 1, 2006	hahaha this goes ta Skillz, hands down... overall his verse was better, punches/wordplay nd then the personal(s)...he aint have many but atleast he had some, same goes for multis...lyrical girlie was coo, but her verse was too simple when it came ta the rhyme scheme...the lyrics were coo, too but she aint have any punches or anything so it aint really compete wit Skillz' battle verse

But yo tookie good lookin homie...i didn't wanna get TOOOO personal on her b/c i was tryna keep it as clean as possible and not have anyone say like ooo you said that just cuz she's female and all that blah blah...It was fun tho, first time battlin' a chick..it's kinda hard cuz there's alot of pressure to not get outshined & shit.

Angel Posts: 6,971 Group: Prezident Member #2 Joined: April 1, 2006	That was just confusing, the verses were completely different, and not ability wise, writing wise, skillz was a punchline and wordplay lesson, LG's was an experienced polished verse, i don't vote on chatagorys like punches anymore, but if i did skillz took it on the technical side of things, but i don't vote like that, on the actual verse impact side of things it evened out cause LG came hard on the lyrical showcase side. this had so much contrast u cant compare the verses, sooooo. Breakdown: LG beat skillz first verse, Skillz beat LG's 2nd verse... so that puts its equal in that way. BUT SkiLLz went hard right at LG, LG went for the angle of showing lyrical ability, SkiLLz went at her with some mad punches and wordplay, so for relevancy Skillz had it there and LG's were strong pieces but they didnt fit into a battle as well as skillz style did. in conclusion LG is a general lyracist and writer, skillz style is more suited for the battle scene. Vote: Skillz.

Working-Class Citizen Posts: 157 Group: Members Member #59 Joined: July 27, 2006	To be honest though, I have highlighted that I'm not about the lyrical punches, I'd much sooner pack somethin' with substance, you get me. Like Joel said, I'm a writer - mainly of lyrics/poetry, so my verses are based around that fact. This is only my 8th battle, I like my spontaneous lyrics that come from battles, but I'd just like to highlight that I don't swear as much as that in my day to day poetry, my work goes a lot deeper than that. I wasn't feelin' as lyrically fired up as I was last night, when I made this thread. But, thanks for the battle.

Battles aren't pretty. They aren't deep & sincere. Battles are vicious and bloody. I'm a different type of animal when i battle and actually theyre starting to get kinda played out to me. I rather write for myself more than waste meaningless words on someone i can careless about (no offense). There's just not enough time in the world these days. Anyway nice lyrics. 1

Punchline rappers get very old after a while and that shit starts to sound like a mixtape. That's why Dips ain't movin nothin, Banks Flopped, etc etc...only a few rappers come out lucky and still pretty hot. But good lookin on the props for this battle....I was tryin not 2 be so harsh cuz she's a girl so i really dumbed alot of shit down, but it was still hard!!!! LOL....Anyway yea, thats why i start cyphers or whatever for more lyrical stuff instead of battle lyrics ya dig? outro. 1
