Anyone watch it? Any thoughts? I missed the first half as I was at work so I missed all the action! Not a bad start for John Terry as captain though. And not a bad start with a new manager, hurray an English manager! Nice to see Becks not playing!!!

He's been dropped from the entire squad too!!! Well he was this time, hope it stays that way, Stevie Gerrard plays just as well on the right, and Aaron Lennon will be a perfect replacement after a bit more experience. Owen Hargreeves was wearing the number 7 shirt HAHAHA

Beckham gone forever hopefully, hes been shit for about... 5 years jesus, and he never was that good to start with  his freekicks are predictable and one dimensional.

I will give it to him, his set peices weren't bad at all. But you can't get a place on the team just for set peices!

Ayup, I like Beckham, so back off biatch!! :fight: :P

Beckham is amazin', fair enough he was better in other areas, but people are far too quick to jump on the bangwagon and say that he did nothin' for this country and it's not the case, he's an icon of our times, England won't be the same without him playin' for our coutry, 'cos he set up and scored some truly amazin' goals. Don't hang his career out to dry just yet, he would make a fantastic coach for young children keen on football, after all he has not only the credentials, but the chances of gettin' them into sport 'cos of his iconic status.

David Beckham is amazin'.

On the subject of England winnin', I dunno, yeah it's good that we won, but don't we always start off good when a new manager signs then as soon as the manager gets their feet under the table, things go a bit pear shaped 'cos of the pressure on them to succeed. People shouldn't assume that they did better 'cos Beckham wasn't in the team, he wasn't in the semi-final due to injury and they still f*cked up, simple as, it has nothin' to do wih Beckham leavin' whatsoever. If it was, then why did they lose their World Cup chances!?! They were the only ones playin', after all.

David Beckham even urged them to succeed, after his World Cup injury, so why do people assume that he's no good!?!

He is nothing the slightest bit special as a footballer, he's no MJ of football, theres tons of players who have deserved his spot in the team all these years, so i'm glad the loser got dropped now. I ain't jumped on no bandwaggon, i've seen right through him for years and seen him play, not many people fuck with me when it comes to knowing football even if i don't follow it anymore, i've been a season ticket holder multiple years and seen the premiership. David Beckham is a choker, he was also the reason England went out of the 2002 world cup, he jumped out of a challenge like a bitch and Brazil went on to score :wanker:

Blah at England winning friendlies, they never win when it really matters.

This victory means nothing, In Svens first match England beat Spain 3-0.

Oh and Beckham is wack, but 50% of Englands goals in the WC were thanks to him.

Drop him from the team but keep him in the squad.

I think hes been dropped from the whole squad, but expect to see an improvement for England, but the choke-factor will always remain, we are chokers.

Yeah i know hes been dropped from the whole squad which is retarded, how can they drop beckham but pick P.Neville.

England need to drop Lampard also, dude is wack for England, Gerrard - Hargreaves in the centre, on the right either Lennon or Shaun Wright Phillips and Joe Cole on the left.

Perfect.
