CRAP, GARBAGE, WEAK AS PISS. on the underground tip its hot, but what does that matter when people are dumb enough to go out and buy all the garbage floating around mainstream right now. |

You know what, I think Hip Hop is quite healthy right now, I don't think that Jigga needs to come back to save Hip Hop, it's fine. In the UK we got our own thing going on which is very healthy in itself with Shystie, Blue, Plan B, Sway etc. And in the states, Talib is on the way back, Mos Def has a new album coming, Pharoah Monch is coming back, The Roots just dropped a classic album, the same with Jurassic 5. Outkast had a solid album, dispite what EIB may say lol. Strange Fruit Project have released one of the best albums this year. Common will have a new album early next year I understand. It's all good to me, but then I ignore commercial rap so I just focus on the good music that is coming out, and right now it's not too bad. |

J's album is sounding mediocore but i assure that no1 has heard Nas's album at ALL...because nothing has leaked....Nas's album will be classic....the best hip-hop album in the world in 06'.....guaranteed. |

I'll hold you to that one, cause he has the same producers as Jay, and has also made that shit he did in the late 90's. |

Nas said it will be just as good as illmatic, if not better and that he's taking it back to when he was hungry...I'm takin his word for it. Either i'm gonna be really wrong or really right. |

Hey i got my green card
|
*claps* Hip Hop on a commercial level is poor BUT like Shychlo said, The Roots dropped a classic or near classic, Jurrasic 5 had great album. Jedi Mind Tricks brillent album and Ra Rugged Man had one of the best verses on the year. No way is Rap in a bad state...you only think that if you look for the marketed rap. |

I don't believe him at all, i think hes hyping it up, he's trying to make a Jay album... you can tell, its gonna be ugly, he can't hang with Jay in the commercial sense, i can't wait to hear Jay's and Nas's albums, cause 2006 is the year of flops and fall offs, so this will be intresting. |

Yeah, they did some good stuff, but we've seen a lot of artists decline this year and flop, more than i've ever seen, its real ugly right now commercially, underground its as good as ever though. |
