Don't slag the Ford Puma - my dad got to borrow one when we were having our C-Max serviced and it was a flying machine (1.6 zetec petrol engine - it was really noisy!). Just don't let your dad take you in it for a test run at 80-90 mph down country roads around gilford....!!!

ahh, driving instructorss....mine's so funny. He's really laid-back in comparison to some of my friends' instructors which is cool cause he makes you feel more relaxed. Don't let him/her get you in a tizzy about all the technical bits and bobs until you're approaching your test date. Just practice! And if you don't understand something or want more practice at certain manoeuvres just ask - you are paying them to teach YOU after all!

i chatted away to mine which was great coz you ended up doing things subconsciously! just take it easy, theyve all taught people who have never ever driven a car before so they'll totally understand you taking it slow or not getting things first time!

darn you learner drivers holding me up when i want to be cruising the roads *shakes fist*

My finest (or worst depending on your stance) moment was overtaking an R-driver on my way to Ballymena a few weeks ago (and I'm still an L-driver). Sorry to admit it but they should have been driving a bit faster - even I was being held up by his/her driving (which was hitting a top speed of about 38mph)

see slow drivers are sometimes even worse than fast ones! and as clarkson says:

"Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary… That’s what gets you"
