Guys... well hello. But anyway.

Just wanted to say that recently I've really been shown the true power of prayer. There is nothing that God cannot do for you."With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). All you have to do is ask! And don't just pray alone either... ask your friends to pray about something on your heart, pray with your friends about it, but just make sure you pray. And never stop praying.

Another thing I should stress is that you should definately pray about something BEFORE it happens... e.g. exams... don't just send a quick one up as you're about to open the front cover of the paper. Start praying about them now, pray that God will help you understand your course etc, and that you will find the exams manageable. And they will be! I can assure you of that.

Personally - I moved to Scotland this year and it took me a looonnnggg time to settle in. I felt so cheated by God - I'd come all this way and struggled to make any friends. ( :( ) But then I realised something - I had hardly prayed about it at all before I came! Once I started praying about it and asked others to pray I began to settle. I talked with a friend who said that she had been praying for months for Christian friends at uni... She got placed (by chance)(or by the power of God) in a corridor with 4 other Christians - people she had never met before. So God will look after you if you pray about stuff! But don't make the same mistake I did, and ask God why you feel cheated if you haven't even prayed about something beforehand!

Hmmm really seems like I've been preaching at you there... but start praying now and dont ever stop!

Just watch this :)

We were shown it in church and it was so inspiring!

Then get back to me with some comments!

Just wanted to say, I was shown over the S.U weekend, just how powerful prayer is.

Anyway, I had been praying with Pete Wright (who has broken his leg by the way :( ) and two of my friends, and was crying my eyes out (like most girls on the Saturday night!!!) cos one of my closest friends was completely ignoring me, it doesn't sound that bad, but I was going through that with other friends for nearly a year before that, and for no reason I couold work out. I felt totally left out, and alone.

I cried out to God, asking him to restore our friendship and to give me strength to keep going. I went into school on Monday, and she was sitting in her usual place, but instead of ignoring me, she turned and asked, 'So how was the weekend?' I was so amazed (though I shouldn't have been!) and wanted to shout 'Thank you God!' there and then, but it just hit me that God cares when we hurt, and comforts us when we most need him. Just thought I would share that, cos I felt bessed by it!
