Just been, was great! About 200/300 people came up to the front of the stage to get saved (or go with someone to get saved). I haven't seen so many people respond to an appeal like that before. Franklin was good too, simple gospel. Nothing more/nothing less. Robin Mark was GREAT!! We all sort of broke the rules when he got us to wave our mobiles in the air with their lights on; it looked class when the lights where down! And he broke a string in his guitar in the first song  he gave it to one of his roadies and sang the next song on his own with a girl on a tin-whistle (she had some serious skills on that thing) Tree63 where good too! Two songs I knew 2 I didn't but they where still great! Nice and loud. So, Anyone been too? Anyone going tomorrow night (I am )?Its free (I was suprised for an oddessy event) and theres no tickets, just be there early, tommorrow's starts at eight, be there for 7:15! www.celebrationofhope.co.uk |

Actually for thge youth night you can get tickets - ur youth pastor got them for us - I think it is so they roiguhly know numbers, and maybe so you actually get in. Not sure. I'm so looking forward to it though. My cousin is doing a drama in the one tonight, and Trimby will be there too. The newsboys are meant to be playing, is that true, or just a rumour? |

I don't think there are tickets for any of them, nothing said about them on the site. There are oddessy staff with one ticket each just scanning the one ticket over and over for each person. I'd say even if you did have a ticket it wouldn't matter, the way they load up the seats is like housing cattle
 I might be there at 7:00, just don't come at 8 if you want to be in the stadium seats. Don't think the newsboys are playing tonight , tonites line-up is: Tree63 29th Chapter Ian hannah band Andrew Trimble Franklin Graham |

Just back from tonight's. It was AMAZING! So many people responded to the appeal at the end, there was about 2000+ young people came up to give their life to God. And there was so many that the counsellers/follow-up team where stretched to work with groups rather than individual people! The worship was great, the message was great, and the guests where great! Whoever didn't go missed out!! Drama was cool too revive

Best bit of youth night had to be our Andy though - not just saying that cuz i'm a rugby fan, he spoke really well last night!! Was disipointed that he didn't the breakdancing a go - he could be quite good at it!! It was totally amazing Tree63 and 29th chapter were good too but couldnt really make out what 29th chapter were saying!! My cousin was saying that last night the od was full 7,500 people and there were another 2000 people in the cinema, and like another lot who couldnt get into od and then the load down in fermanagh! Just think of what God can do in Banbridge academy!!! |

Yeah, it was amazing! Loved Tree63 and 29th chapter. I missed the drama, cos I was with my friend, she was buying a drink. I couldn't believe it!!! Aw, Trimby was great, "Dude, you're really boring me!" I thought that was sooo funny! But, i guess if you do it every day, you wouldn't want to talk about it all the time! I know, the nuimber of ppl who went up wa samazing. I said to my friend i wanted to hug the 1st guy. He just got off his seat and went up, all by himself, before everyone else. I couln't have done that! I could tell he was nervous, even from behind, I just pray that all those who truly meant that prayer last night will stick at it, and won't fall back into their old routines, if they changed quite a bit. I know it would be hard, and they could lose friends, but they just made the best decision of their lives. Aw, i really enjoyed it!
I thought Franklin was OK, his message was good, but he got lost a few times when he was in full flow, and repeated himself a bit, but it was still good.

I really was surprised when so many people came up. I was surprised with the 300odd that came up on friday night but saturday night was crazy!! 29th chapter seemed to have a bit of an audio problem, tree63 had the same problem on the first night. I don't know if it was all down to that though because the sign-language person couldn't translate it because they where talking so fast  their last song was good though, you had to concentrate to get the full lyrics but it was still good. They came down onto the floor after it was over/when the counselling was going on. I'd be class if we had a response to an appeal like that in school not everyone doesn't want to become a christian, they just don't know about what it's like/what its about!

But yeah big audio prob with 29th chapter kinda all noise no words. But sooooo good really wish it wasn't just a three day event!!
