I call it the dab method. Take a brush with a curve too it. Have a lot of paint on it. Dab it on piece, the continuing dipping and dabbing until the piece is painted. Let it dry over night. Cause the outside will feel dry, more than likely the middle will still be wet. So give it a good dry period. |

I'll have to experiment with that! Thanks! Hey, and for Vau, is that actually peeling paint on the armour? That's a great idea, it really adds to the realism! I really like that damage effect. |

Yup... Its a couple of parts there with the weathering. First paint it the main color, gloss black, then paint it flat black, to give it that faded look, then apply flat silver. Most mando armor is silver, since being made out of beskarmin(sp) or mando metal. It's first paint job gets a base of silver, then it gets the rest of the colors. It was time consuming, but it came out really nice imho. From what I read Vau had very beat up looking armor. Hey wheels thanks!!! Don't for get to check out the other two I posted the other night. Those heads are generic gijoe target and trus figs |

I actually had to repair this figure when I was making the custom. The right should split in half. I had to epoxy it and sand it to make it look correct. But you can't tell from the pics. |
