It's something new I have been doing. Its pastels brushed on to make weathering. I used it with models for years, figured Id give it a try with some figs. |

The bell part of the helmet is from a tac snowtrooper. The face visor is from a red aotc arc commander. I trimmed the visor and fave off the helmet. I glued it to another piece of plastic. Then glued it into the inside of the bell part that I sanded out to make it bigger on the inside. I then put plastic wrap over the body and head of the fig. Put kneadatite over it in a drapped cloth look, then smash the helmet over the head and the kneadatite. Once it cured I removed the plastic wrap, bored and sanded it again, then placed it on the head and it worked out pretty well. I trimmed the front down on the bacaclava part of the helmet cause it ended up being too long. It was a bitch to be honest, not once Id want to do again. If I did do it again, I would make a mold from this helm, to have another one. |

That is freaking sweet!!! The paint job on this is easily one of the best you have ever done. Don't leave this one laying around when I come down next weekend. |
