Hi everyone!

I'm a high-school student in the U.S. and I go by Rheingold online. And um...I like webcomics. For example, Circle Versus Square. And xkcd.

I'm a college student, and i hate webcomics... at least i did until i found circle vs. square. It literally changed me life...forever.

Oh and if you couldn't tell by my name, diamond is my favorite character. So much so in fact that i want him back. I follow the book of diamond and await his coming... at any moment.

I'm a 'high school' student in Australia, though I guess in the US I'd be a middle school student. I'm reading quite a few webcomics at the moment - Questionable Content would be my favourite, and of course Circle Versus Square. As you can see, I'm not very good with introductions, so I think I'll just leave it at that.

Wow! Seems like we have a pretty diverse crowd here. A high school student from US, a middle school student from down under, and a dude who does dudely things.

You seem very familiar to me nor. I knew a dude once.

I have recently become very intrigued by the genre of webcomics and have become an avid reader of several. I am from Southern California and hence the name madhollywood at least that's generally what I tell people. In reality, and I am only revealing this to you guys because you are CvS readers who I trust implicitly, a friend of mine nicknamed me Adam the Hollywood Madam back in the day. It never really stuck, but I appreciate a good rhyme scheme, a palindrome and the fact that Adam spelled backward is nearly madam. That's right my REAL name is Adam.

Nice to meet y'all.

I am impressed.

All I do on my blog is rant on like a crazy old coot (Part of COCN, CrazyOldCootNetwork -- "all crazy, all coot, all the time”).

BTW, my Jethro tull story (didn't happen to me):

decades ago, an ol' friend went to a concert of JT's blasted on .. whatever. Ian Anderson comes out to thunderous applause, and without any ado breaks into a new song.

45 minutes later, after a stunned audience rocks the place w/ a standing ovation for 10 minutes on their first hearing of "Thick as a Brick", he waits for'em to quiet down amd goes up to the microphone and says,

"and now, for our second number...."

& there's ANOTHER 10 minute standing ovation.

Wish I'da been there

this is the only fan forum I've ever posted on before.

Hey Parallelogram. Since this is your first forum and all I thought I would extend a warm welcome to you. Rheingold runs the show around here, but I pop in from time to time.

Anyway, to introduce myself, my name is Wakcher and I write a webcomic called Circle Versus Square. You should totally read it or something. You can find it at http://www.circleversussquare.com

Now if you'll excuse me I have a very important X to stand on. B)

Hi. I named myself cowprint because I wanted a patterny name and for another top-secret reason. :P

Decided to join the forum when I noticed the link on the comic's homepage. Usually I would take ages to join, but Wakcher replied my email so I was all yay, someone's polite to me on the internet!

...I mean, I was bored and curious.

It's shocking sometimes what happens when you combine bored and the internet.

Hey all, I just discovered Circle vs. Square on TopWebComics, and I have to say, simple and easy design complemented by great humor = instant win.

But, enough of my rambling. About me.
I'm a thirteen-year-old girl, but I'm also a serious grammar Nazi and a know-it-all. I look at a lot of webcomics, and CvS is the most recent one I've found. So, yeah. That's me. I'll share more if asked. :)

Hmm, just because you said you're a grammar Nazi....

"simple-and-easy design" (hyphens are needed because you have more than one word modifying the word "design")
"But enough of my rambling" (the word "but" when used as an introduction isn't followed by a comma)

Not that I really care. Or, uh, am obsessed with grammar at all...no, no, I'm not. :P

And welcome to the forum, anyway! :D

My name is Lady Triangle, greetings and salutations to you all.

Perhaps you may say that I cannot be Lady Triangle for Triangle is not married, to which I merely say then my love for him must be incestuous.

...I don't know, I just think he's awesome. Is it wrong to have a crush on a 2-dimensional shape?

Discovered this through a link in someone's signature on the xkcd fora. Then saw Triangle, and my life has never been the same since...

Hey ASpieboy, it's me Wakcher! Glad to have you here!

They gal who runs the forum, RheinGold is on hiatus right now. We're glad to have you around, though be warned that right now we are still in the growing phase.

I'm glad you enjoy CVS! Sure it's a "webcomic" becuase it's on the web, but I consider it a comic first and foremost no matter where it is printed :)

I see by your posts that you are ever hungry for more content! My best advice there is let patience be a virtue. :D

In the beginning was my word, and my word was law, and the law was me. I was with the law in the beginning.
Through me all things were made; without me nothing was made that has been made. In me is life, and that life is the light of all. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness does not overcome it.

And I'm also a US college student who found out about this comic by clicking on the "comics that need transcribing link" from http://www.ohnorobot.com/ I appreciate the witty, yet unpretentious humor. I also enjoy such comics as xkcd and ctrl-alt-del, and like politics.

I may or may not have multiple personalities.
