The only way I would do it would be if it were to escape a extremely painful death. Like being eaten by zombies. I would eat a bullet if that were the case.

When the first planes where created for the use of war, the pilot had a gun and in it, a bullet. If they where shot down, they had the option of plunging thousands of feet to their death, or to eat a bullet. I think most took bullet option.

They were also idiots who didn't grasp the basic idea behind parachutes.

I've had enough of emos whining about suicide. Remember kids, Rippy the Razor says: "Down the block, not across the street!"

Now, on to the much better topic of cannibalism. HARH HARH HARMAN HAMBARGARZ!

Our maths teach taught that to the emos in our class~ lol

Lol, its a woman. It was really funny too, coz she was like "I hate emos, why don't they just hurry up and end it all!"

Genreally, however, this woman is a nut.

PS: What made this classic was the fact she said it in front of her kid, coz he was there on a sick day.

I think suicide for a cause, like suicide bombers, is a blatant sin against the sanctity of life! I also hate suicide cults.

I mean, there are better ays to make a point! Take hostages ppl~! (lol, not serious... i don not advocate that either)

@adolis: i shall give my bro the noose!

Because piano wire will decapitate you if you apply enough pressure.

Depends on the cause. I'd gladly take on a suicide mission if it meant removing a dangerous threat to my country (or resulted in an unimaginable level of carnage that I could watch and laugh at from the Warp.

Stand at the top of a tall structure and make sure that there is something relatively soft such as grass, or a sleeping fat person, below. You should preferably be on the edge of some kind of overhang, such as a bridge.

Next, tie cheese wire around your neck - tight enough that it won't slip off under tension but loose enough not to choke you. Remember, you don't want to die looking like a Michael Hutchence wannabe. Nobody wants to be Michael Hutchence. Even Hutchence hated it.

Anyway, tie the cheese wire to something solid on top of the structure. Make sure that there is a good six or seven feet of slack. Now stand at the edge and glue your hands to the side of your head. If you are under the age of 16, you may wish to get a responsible but sociopathic adult to help you. Wait until your hands are glued solidly to your head. This has the added advantage of stopping you from calling for help if you change your mind (you fucking pussy).

Now jump off the structure. It'll only hurt for a second, when the cheese wire runs out of slack and slices through your neck. The overhang should stop you from bashing your now-severed head against the wall of the structure when the cutting motion jerks your body backwards.

You should hopefully land face down, although this is really out of your hands by now. Unlike your head, which is glued to them. This has the excellent effect of causing whoever finds your body to think that you have pulled your head off.

Breaks the ice at parties!

Thats the only way I would go.

That's how suicide bombers and the kamikazes of WWII see it, though for some it's an extreme case of it. I think it's really something to down this way (for your country, beliefs/faith, or the people you love) Not exactly the best or moral (in some cases), but respectable on certain degree.

My apologies to anyone who lost someone this way, as in being a victim to such a suicide.

concerning the other side of suicide, I don't really know much. I think it's wrong, but I've never known someone who committed suicide. If anyone I knew ever mentioned suicide, I would find out why and then terminate the "why" out of their mind... or at least try to.

as for myself, I wouldn't be able to fulfill my ambition, if I committed suicide. So no matter what happens or how much despair comes my way, I'll still live for my ambition.

However, not everyone is like this and it limits my usefulness to understand or help others. If I ever do commit suicide, it would be to save people I care about or if in a situation I'm going die regardless of what happens. But if there's an "enemy" there, I'm going down fighting and dragging them with me to death.

suicide bombers and the kamikazes of WWII

Please don't speak of them both in the same sentence. The Japanese kamikaze pilots were brave and honorable men who knowingly gave their lives to defend their homeland. Regardless of whatever Japan may have done in WWII and the fact that they eventually lost that war, such sacrifice is worthy of respect. Suicide bombers are deranged lunatics out to kill innocent bystanders for a sketchy cause and virgins they can't touch anyway. Their dedication may be commendable, but their choice in targets is not.

yeah, kamikaze pilots went after targets that could have or would posed a threat, as in, the navy, marines, etc...
Innocent bystanders don't even classify as a threat, so killing them doesn't prove much, if not, anything.

sorry about that, writing about this at 3:00 am is not a smart move on my part.
