I'll re-go on my last point

whenever Wile.E tries and tries to catch roadrunner, it never ever works out

Instead, he orders stuff from Acme to help him out(crazy machines and tools) but sadly, those fail too. Like with us humans; we often like to try and you tools and other crazy schemes to get ahead in life(and in happiness) but those will all eventually fail as well

For Coyote to catch roadrunner, he'd have to be in the same place as him, but roadrunner is too fast and it's a very Very VERY big dessert

The sad thing is, we'll never "catch" happiness, cuz it moves to fast for us

If he would just return to his cave and grow a vegtable garden, he'd be happy; albiet bored, but at peace(so you can either chase after happiness, or you can settle down a grow a vegtable garden where you stand: your choice)

Therefore, is there a point to even attempting to catch this happiness? If we are aware of the fact that we can never obtain true happiness (unless we believe in a Religion which promises it after our life ends), then why do we chase it so, arune?

I beleive that it is possible...that we can obtain happiness. I'm sure that there is a point in our lives where we do feel like we have grasped happiness. Perhaps happiness is to powerful a word. Maybe "content" is a better one.

For example, does Wile. E not gain a sense of contentment from setting up a seemingly infailable trap? Does this not bring him momentary happiness?

Everyone encounters happiness...that is what drives us on in life. Living through the happy moments.

Happiness is easily obtainable, for happiness is a beer in one hand, a gun in the other, and two chicks with D-cups hanging off each arm \o

I'd choose exciting over boring anyday! Even if I would never find true happiness on the exciting road, I don't give! I don't want happiness anyway, only excitement and fullfillment. I would rather keep on chasing the roadrunner and enjoying myself for my entire life then sit home and find "happiness" while being utterly and completely bored. Wouldn't you?

that thing Deathkaiser said was a JOKE don't take everything so seriously!

Sorry, I can't tell if he's joking or taking it seriously.

Once, DeathKaiserG asked "What is love?" and someone posted a picture of a funny looking guy named love, to just be funny. Deathkaiser then said, "No, not the person, the thing."

I was like, "He put the picture there to be funny! He didn't think that was what you meant! He's not an idiot! Although you are GULLAHBULL!!!" (I know that's not how you spell it.)

ya know Aigu, you really are a very emotionally strong person. Not a trait I personally value per se, but still useful to some

And no, I wouldn't enjoy falling off the cliff for the rest of my life(at least the heavy hang-time would give me some time to reflect on why I'm even chasing roadrunner, which lead to falling off the cliff in the first place)

anyway, chasing happiness really does hurt(after all, when sylvester falls from tweety's cage, it'll always hurt the higher he jumps. The higher you jump, the harder you fall)

But as I said before, for some, life is a chase. You go ahead and catch roadrunner(though I can't help but wonder if Wile.E has anything better to do with his life)

Well, I wouldn't chase happiness. :o

I'd just chase anything that I'd enjoy or would excite me. I don't care if I get hurt in the process. Why would you try so hard to avoid a life with a small amount of pain, when that is inevitably what the gods have chosen for us?

And let's say you watch, I don't know, Gilmore Girls. Would the show be as exciting if Luke and Lorelai got together from the beginning and if Rory aced Yale and got a wonderful job? No. You need some action, some depression, some romance, some hate, some zing to make it all worth it.

Why live indoors like a hermit, avoiding any situation that might possibly hurt you just so you can live a life of "happiness?" To me, that wouldn't be happiness; more a forced happiness, with no feelings of pride or fullfillment involved.

During medieval times in Europe, whenever soldiers were recruited for the army, many did not want to return to their dull, bland life. Many loved seeing new things and fighting battles. They could have stayed home farming for the rest of their lives, but the preferred a new, exciting lifestyle.

I would rather foolishly chase happiness. At least it would give meaning to life.

To me, life has no point. I never know why we where put on this hell that we call earth. All that exist in this world is corruption and suffering. That's how I see it since I've suffered too much throughout my childhood.

wow, that was so sad, im cryin'. it's alright though, god put us here so that we can prove we're heven worthy. and we all have our problems, like my sense of humor is actually to hide my insecurity. I think we should all be able to show our fellings without being put in a catagory. in other words, i don't think you emo. your just expressing your fellings like god wanted us to do. if we as a society are taught not to express our true emotions, because of the fear of being put into a catagory based on how you feel, then that would encorage people to kill thenselves therefor making them turn away from god's path leading them to hell. and that's what's wrong with modern society, closed mindedness and categorization.
so don't worry and express your heart out. that's what the Mahora Forums are for, to communicate and listen to other people's feelings. :comfort: :comfort: :comfort:

I already did. They kicked me out for bringing ice cream.

realy!? what flavor? was there like, a sign that said:

WELCOME TO HELL
- No Food
- No drinks
- No pets
- No end to your torture.

.... that's what i thought it would be like.
And,

HELL
-Floor 1: The unbabtized
-Floor 2: Those overcome by lust
-Floor 3: The gluttons
-Floor 4: Those obsessed with material goods
-Floor 5: The wrathful and the slothful
-Floor 6: Heratics
-Floor 7: The violent (sepperated into 3 parts, for your convienince)
-Floor 8: The fraudulent
-Floor 9: The traitors (Hope you brought a swimsuit and a coat...)

--And yes, I got this from the "Divine Comedy" just if your wondering. and the "floors" are realy circles. If you get the joke, here, have a cookie.
And yes, I'm 13.

There is no exact meaning to life.

You live to die, and you die to live. It's a never ending cycle, you see this world is full of pain and suffering, though this "love" was created by loneliness, almost everyone does not want to be alone in this pitiful world so they rely on each other. Hell, and Heaven do not exist, when you die, you're dead.

Sorry for the Emo paragraph.
