our life have no special meaning.....either religionly: god probably just created us 4 no special reason maybe for fun but i don't think there's much of a meaning behind that action. or scientifacly: we were just created somehow by atom's or something 4 no reason ("^^ im not that good at any science topic so im not going to give a big explaination) however....if one search 4 a meaning to his life one should know he is the only god of one's life and can control he's fate and other's almost compeletly and number of possiblty's 4 what can one do r endless. it is just a matter of which path one decide's to take which control all his life. man that's pretty unlike me to talk like that....... |

Are you Christian or Roman Catholic or something? Just wanted to ask. (WARNING: This post containes religous beliefs and or insight. If you find it offensive, Please skip over and do not read. If you do not mind, or will not lash back and aren't offended by religious beliefs, then by all means, proceed and continue.) God has planned out intricatly what our purpose is. We are all created to serve a purpose. A purpose he will give us after we have proven ourselves of overcoming sin. Read the bible if you want to know what is planned for us. Here is what my personal message is to those who do not believe in God. We are made to fufill a purpose. This purpose, gives us meaning. We strive to better ourselves. We strive to better those around us and we strive to live in a better world. We try to bring ourselves closer and closer to perfection as possible as to live in a world of perfect harmony. We try to right wrongs, we try to fix mistakes, we try our hardest to be something, or someone that made an improvement in life. This is the goal and purpose of life. This is almost exactly opposite of what goes on todays society. But I believe that is a purpose some do prefer to fufill. Evenkurugan |

There are those who consider themselves christian or catholic but do not know much. They somehow mingle their interpretations of what will happen with what is prophesized to be. That is why I asked. Evenkurugan |

I try to not get too religious on forums because I've gotten in trouble for it before but here's what I say- God created everything including us. He loves each and every one of us like crazy, whether we believe in him or not. Our purpose in life is to try an make an example of good Christians in todays society and try and get as many people to believe as we can. So many people nowadays have such a twisted view on religion and everything, so I'll sum it up- If you don't believe that Jesus Christ is God's only son and died on the cross to save us from going to hell for out sins, you are not saved and will go to hell. However, if you do truly believe in Jesus Christ and believe that he gave his life for us, the ULTIMATE sacrifice, and you are baptized into His Holy Spirit, you are saved. And the Bible is not like a rulebook like so many people make it out to be, it's more like guidelines of how we should live our lives. That doesn't mean we can sin and sin and sin and God will forgive us all time, we still have to do our part, but it's not like if you say a cus word, you're going to hell or nothin' like that. Trust me when I say, I sin a lot, but I know I'm forgiven and I've been a believer nearly my whole life, so I don't have to worry. I try and fix myself and stop doing these sins, but if I fail, God's not gonna say, "Alright, you're not tryin', I'm done with you." No, He's very kind and merciful, and love's each of us more than we can even imagine. Please, no one flame me for posting that because I really get sick of people mocking me for my religion.

Well, I'm not very familiar with any others since I've been a Christian my whole life, but I know baptists pretty much believe and do the same things, so that's a correct religion. Catholic's believe God and Jesus exist and everything, but from what I hear, they pray to Mother Mary which is wrong, if there's anyone that we should pray to, it's Jesus. But I'm not quite sure like I said, I'm probably wrong. And understand this, no matter what someone's religion is, I'll still be their friend and get along with them. Heck, a good friend I know online is atheist, the most wrong religion ever, but he's still a friend of mine. We just don't talk about religion! I have respect for anyone and everyone no matter what they believe.

all the three religon's (jewish, christian, salam) belive in god and have the same oldest storie's.....well maybe except salam.....anyway jewish is like christian that dosen't have jesus in it and nobody that is that big, sure there million's of messiah's in the bible but no one of them can be called "the son of god" like that. not even the 3 father's or mosse's that r considered the most closest to god in jewish and probably in christian too after jesus. so we pray to the same god with a lil' difference in the religou's rule's and we don't pray to a past messiah, since we both have same basic princapal's dosen't that make both relgion's correct? |

Well, like I said, I'm not very familiar with the others so I couldn't say yes or no. But I will say, I'm not sure what Bible your reading, because in the Holy Word, there's only one Messiah, Jesus. You must be reading one of those Bible's where people put there own books and crap in them. That is just wrong. So, I would just say, if someone truly wants to be saved, believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, be baptized into God's Holy Spirit, and believe with all your heart that Jesus died for you, came back to life, as is coming again. I do!
