How I see love I guess, is when you only care about making the other person happy no matter what, thinking about that person whenever something reminds you of them, wanting to be around them; hoping that they would look your way, feeling anxious when you're gonna see them, just glad that you actually met them, and just happy when they're happy. But that's just what I think. |

A different question: If true love exists, how old do you think you have to be to realize it? Can you find or understand love in high school? Even in middle school? Or can it take a lifetime? This question is probably a bit limited, considering most of us are high schoolers or college students. Oh well. I don't think I've experienced romantic love. I'm not sure I ever will. Maybe my inability to believe in it has brought me to this point. There has only been one person that I have ever felt really strongly for, and if that was love, well then I've fallen out of it, and I'm not any different from when I started. |

I see what you did thar So my philosophy teacher said something interesting on the topic of love the other day. He said that love was knowing somebody completely and still liking them. This meaning, not accepting their faults, but just dealing with them and still liking the person. Scavenger Hunt #1 |

So anyone you know completely yet still like, you're automatically in love with? What if I knew everything about my brother and still thought he was cool? I don't think that'd be love. But that along with other things does make love. I just don't think that this alone is love. |

My definition of love is a pretty deep romantic interest in each other, while knowing almost everything that makes your partner tick. You would care greatly for each other and has an interest in their abilities and interests. You would want to be there for each other, and stand by them. And if you two totally loved each other, you would be able to die for or with each other. |

There really is no one definition for love. You can't say love is when you would protect someone, or when you know all about them. People express love differently. You might express it by stalking them (which I would not suggest, btw), by shyly watching them from away, talking with them, being physical (I mean hugging, you perv!) or by kicking them and pulling their hair (ok. well, that's 3rd grade. but you get the idea). No two people show love in the same way. That's why it's so hard to describe it. For example, let's say you express love by writing mushy letters. Your definition (if you were close-minded) would go something like this: Love is when you like someone so much that you want to write them mushy love letters. But we as human beings know that other people express love differently, so that's why it's so hard to describe. Because we don't (and can't possibly) know all the different ways to love. |

You could debate that there is only one way to love. However, I do agree with Aigu in saying that not everyone loves the same. That's probably why it is so difficult to find love - because you need someone who expresses in a similar manner to yourself. Or, at least, accepts the way you show your love. |

@ aigu@Vic, it's not entirely lust, its like an attraction meter. it reacts to something you like a lot. It can also be a love magnet, moving toward the one you love, but it has moments where you can confuse it @ aigu@shiryu, thats lust and @DKG, Its either love, or you have some sort of allergic reaction when she is near, and your heart goes crazy til it asplodes |
