Well North America includes the US and Canada and personally I think we both have faults, we're probably both equally screwing the environment.

Hehe, true.

just got my facts straight. Seems it was the DUTCH who're thankful to Canadians. Germans were occupying the netherlands, and the Canadian army marched in to rescue them. Even though they were dying left and right, and running low on supplies, no matter how the Germans mowed them down, the Canadians marched on to help the Dutchin distress. The freed them, and that was it(Saved many lives at the cost of their own)

that's about it ^_^

PS: so it was WWII

I believe the Polish Army was also there assisting (sp) your ancestors in freeing the Netherlands. And for some reason I keep thinking that a few British troops were also there...

Even the French contributed some soldiers, though both of them did little more than sit around drinking wine...

The French Resistance, at least, did some damage to many railroads etc. in preparation for Operation Overlord...

Sorry, but you're a bit late on that one.

North America is absolutely FULL of faults. D:  It's a wonder anyone lives here at all. Let's see, we've got...
The Moab Fault
The Humboldt Fault
The San Andreas Fault
The Seattle Fault
The Wasatch Fault...

The list goes on and on. D:
