How MUCH does luck REALLY affect someone's life? luck: a chance happening, or that which happens beyond a person's control. Or is it more "with every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction"? |

There is no such thing as the truely random. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. I'd go into it more but I'm at school and don't have time to write a couple paragraphs. |

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction? What makes you so sure that always works? So If i were a dick to everyone ever (in the world) they would love and/or adore me? anyway, I have an amulet that eaises my luck by +6 I'm fine with it to say it helps me get a critical. |

There is Luck When you Play Card games (like Yu-gi-oh or Pokemon) and your in a pinch sometimes, you'll get your a Card that will turn the tables and that is Luck Like Book of Life's Definition:
It's Uncontrollable It's not your fault that you pick that card in the right time (even though you shuffled it) --Hello Mahora...Deshi |

Yeah but you shuffled those cards, they weren't placed in the order they're in by some mystical force, they were put that way by you. You controlled it, you just didn't look to see what order they were in. |

Agreed with Zaroff. Everything happens because you or someone else MADE it that way, regardless of how incredibly coincidental it is, you or someone else still caused it to be that way. |

That's not it Yeah you said that you didn't see the order BUT... at exactly the right moment, you Picked that Strong Card to Defeat your Opponent The Timing was right and you can't control the Time --Hello Mahora...Deshi ![]() |

Time has little to do with luck, i agree that it can, at times, hold the most important part, but it mainly has to do with ALL the actions of ALL the people around you. These actions act upon each other until it reaches you, and there, you get your "stroke of luck" |

Alright how about this then. Both sides of the match have shuffled their cards. The order for both sides is already predetermined. The "battle" has already been fought, time is only the medium in which the event occur. |

CORRECTOMUNDO! The future is always determined, it's just a long chain of events that string from each other, granted things can change depending on the action taken by the next in line, but the future is never really unpredictable, it all happens for a reason. MIND BOGGLING ISN'T IT? |

The future isn't set in stone, the element of choice always presents itself. But in the case of the children's card game, the deck is shuffled, all thats left to affect card order is choice. So its a very good analogy for explaining things like "fate" and "luck" |
