Ya hay guise. Some people knew already, and wanted pictars. I also promised them in my return thread. I took over a thousand photos, and I cbf to upload them all, so here are a selected 63 of them Akihabara on day 1 (or night 1 as it turned out to be) http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00033.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00034.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00035.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00036.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00037.jpg 2 days later, we went to Nara. Have some deer: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00060.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00061.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00062.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00069.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00073.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00173.jpg And then we went into the main temple area, where that hueg Buddha and hole in pillar are. If you are a true Negima fan, you better remember that from the cover of Volume 4 >:U: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00184.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00196.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00197.jpg And here is a random bell we saw: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00207.jpg Next day we went to Osaka. Here is Osaka castle: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00224.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00228.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00237.jpg We also went to USJ, but hay, that's a theme park. lol. Next day was spent in Kyoto. Have some Kinkaku-ji (Temple of the Golden Pavilion): http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00264.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00261.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00286.jpg Nao for Hirano Shrine. It's famous in springtime, not summer, because it has lots of Sakura trees. None were blossoming tho D; http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00316.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00317.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00320.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00321.jpg Enjoy the toilet sign too: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00328.jpg We went to Fushimi Inari. Negima fans better recognise this too >:U http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00330.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00332.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00333.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00338.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00342.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00349.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00354.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00357.jpg Then i ate Melonpan: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00363.jpg Then went to Kiyomizu-dera. If you don't know this place, you should be ashamed: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00368.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00375.jpg <- recognize this? http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00377.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00379.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00380.jpg <- O HAY LOVE STONES http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00381.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00382.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00383.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00384.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00385.jpg <- The legendary "suicide" spot http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00387.jpg <- Moar fountain pictars. I drank from all three O: So we went to Hiroshima the next day. Sorry, I didn't get nuked. Instead, I had Melonpan: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00425.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00427.jpg Yes, you can buy Melonpan in McDonald's. McDonald's has this thing called McBakery. Why is this not available in HK? <_< Also, this is the Shinkansen we took to Hiroshima: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00426.jpg So in Hiroshima we saw the only nuked building that was allowed to stand: the A-Bomb Dome. We also went to the Memorial Park and Museum. I took too many pictars, so none uploaded. Have some A-Bomb dome: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00432.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00435.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00440.jpg So we went to Toei Cinema Village the next day: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00645.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00647.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00648.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00649.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00651.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00656.jpg and I had more melonpan afterwards http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00662.jpg And we returned to Tokyo in time for a festival in Harajuku. Have some fireworks: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00684.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00693.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00694.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00700.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC00719.jpg Being in Harajuku, we stopped for some of the specialty: Ice-cream Burger: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC01330.jpg Next day we had lolsome Ice-cream in this indoor theme park in Sunshine City, Ikebukuro: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC01343.jpg The ice creams are as follows: Top left - Egg flavoured Top right - Soy Sauce bottom left - Indian Curry bottom right - Beef We also had wasabi, ramune and chicken wing ice cream, but no pictar. And we went to Animate after that: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC01344.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC01345.jpg My friend has more pictars of inside Animate, though he hasn't sent them to me yet <_< We spent a day in Tokyo DisneySea, but it's not work documenting or having pictars for. I didn't take any either. If anyone decides to go, here's some advice: Don't expect much for the Indiana Jones ride. It has a large building, but half of it is waiting space <_< Final full day was spent in Fuji. It was rainy, so most pictars were crap. Have some nice ones of Fuji itself.: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC01393.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p190/So...an/DSC01439.jpg My new merch will be uploaded with pictars from the Ani-Com HK, and polly posted in a new thread. |

MUCH OF YOUR JAPAN EXPERIENCE MIRRORS MY OWN. I look forward to viewing all the pictures in order to nostalgify my face. Akiba and Takeshita Street in Harajuku are my favorite places IN THE WORLD. <3 |

IKNORITE 8D BEST PLACES Though Sunshine City in Ikebukuro isn't bad either. Thar's a K-Books and an Animate right next to it, and heck they are hueg! The K-Books thar is larger than the one in Akiba! |

holyshit, you wen to the Toei studio too? When I went with mah other classmates, we got to do a swordfighting workshop thingy. It was awesome. also, AKIHABARA, FUCK YEAH! I see you also went to Gamers... Didn't get a chance to find Animate, though... you lucky bastard. The McDonald's that we went to didn't have any McBakeries... unless I was too blind to see. |

I stayed in that hotel. I spent my last few hours in japan digging through the 100 yen figure boxes at Animate. I also went to the music store below the Boy's Love store. |

:C We just missed each other then.. I went on the 20th, and left on the 30th. Similarly, my dad was a lazy butt too, and forced all the planning and shiet onto me. I planned the entire trip, found prices, wrote up a rough timetable-thing, and panicked when they wanted to make changes xD Hm.. iirc, we went to Akiba 4 times, 3 of which were on a Sunday 8D Sunday cosplay 8D ofc, I didn't take pictars because I would seem like some stalker, since I went at nights on sunday D: |
