As a matter of fact, I do. I picture a bunch of things, but mostly sunny skies and meadows of flowers as far as the eye can see, with the occasional tree and fountain. My mother on the other hand doesn't. She thinks once a person dies, *poof* that's it, you done, nothing more. So, what about everyone else? |

I don't want to believe in the afterlife, unless its like, a pleasant, awesome one. :'[ Otherwise I'm just hoping for the *POOF* then reincarnation as something awesome. |

Generally, I agree with Slate there. I hope there's an afterlife though, that would be cool. |

Who cares? The structure of afterlife is a personal projection, reincarnation is a contradiction, if it happens it will happen anyway. |

I would say that it would be nice if there was an afterlife and we all went to a nice place when we died, but I am more inclined to believe such a thing is not the case. Rather, I see death as a void, an end where the conciousness ceases to exist. In other words, nothing. Because our brain ceases to function we don't perceive, think, understand or question. We just aren't. Completely blank. It's hard to put it like this, but this is what I accept death to be, though it is not what I WANT it to be. |
