Went through Yue's section and saw nothing of the sort. Since the topic was still in my head from a 4 page paper on the apocalypse I had to write up for my Contemporary Issues class, might as well make a poll on it. Have fun. |

LHC could be added into the Warfare thing, since it's meant more as a 'We kill ourselves' thing. |

Global warming is happening, but we are not the cause. The ice age melted somehow, it's just history repeating itself all over again. So that's not it. I believe that people will just keep going. It's not even something we need to worry about in our lifetimes. |

The end of humanity, or at least a very large portion of it, will occur within my estimated lifespan, or within 50 years. Within this period of time, humanity will destroy itself, most likely with an experimental disaster with something like the LHC or some other human-induced accident of massive proportions. The laws of physics may say that it should be safe, but the stuff they're playing with don't always obey the laws of physics. |

I believe soon we will all be sucked into a black hole and be destroyed, but then later on a new type of species will be created. Hopefully one less stupid and reckless. 8U |

It's already too late for the planet. We've done too much damage and left too much waste. What's ironic is that even if we were to all die out, there would be no one to control the waste, so all the chemicals and radiation from nuclear reactors and such would cause damage even after we are gone. While we are killing the planet, we have insurance that if we are killed, the planet will still be killed anyway. |

Better to get your environmental information from science than politics. And I actively avoid politics. |

Scientists would destroy us by accident. Politicians would destroy us by making stupid choices. |
