Is it just me, or is Iai-ken the ultimate fighting style? It's fast AND strong AND has range. Not to mention Kankahou really pumps up the heat and you can shoot, what Asakura said, was like a cannon blast in a matter of seconds.

I mean, I love fighting games and I know that in an actual game Takahata would be that broken guy that's banned from all the tournaments because you can mash his Iaiken punches and win with one move.

Hm. Yes, I'm sure he would be--that is, if Negi-sensei weren't around to challenge him. From what I've seen, Negi became as strong as the Legendary Jack Rakan in a mere week or two. Now how's that even possible? It's not. Negi's just an insane genius boy. ^^

But the others who'd stand a great chance against him are Setsuna and Kaede.

(Setsuna because she's a fast/swordsman/demon) + (Kaede because she's a fast/ninja)

You misunderstood me. I wasn't saying Takahata is the strongest of all the characters, no, far from it. Just saying that he has what may be the best style. If everybody was at equal power levels, I believe Takahata would be the most powerful character due to his style.

That's what I meant.

Now, if NEGI were to master Iai-ken (or Asuna, because she has Kankaho), then I things would get a LOT easier.

Hm... Yah, his style---if it was mastered completely--would be nearly unbeatable. But... Every style must have a weakness, and I think the weakness is the weilder themselves.

His style is great. And I'll let you know, for the most part, you're right.

And it WOULD be amusing if Asuna mastered the technique 'cuz it took Takamichi a helluva long time to master it! XD

If Negi mastered it fast he would be unstoppable, and fans would rage since they apparently hate super fast powerups.

Though since Negi isa genius he'd find a way to cover up the flaws right? Though you know what they say, there's always someone better then you.
