Ok guys, self explanatory. Kind of like the Reading Challenge thread, only one that I can actually post in and not spam the shit up : ) I actually have a few games going right now, but I am currently playing: Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass for the DS. Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii (which I put down for a few weeks, need to pick it back up). FEAR for the 360. Got this for Christmas. This bitch is hard as hell. I got to the end of level 3 and actually had to turn the difficulty down to easy. I know. I'm a pussy. Level 4 is kicking my ass too. My 360 almost got tossed through my wall Sunday thanks to this game. So what are you guys playing? |

Vice City is BY FAR the best in the series. I hated San Andreas with a passion. Project Origin looks killer, I can't wait for it either. I thought about FEAR Files, but I heard it sucked ass. How many levels are there in FEAR, Numbers? I am on 4 right now. I may have to pick it up when I get home from work tonight. No spoilers, but is the ending worth a shit? |

FEAR is hardcore worth it. It's fucked up and disturbing, but it's worth it. If you don't get it, I can explain it later. Don't remember how many levels there are, but it feels kinda short. Probably because I played the HELL out of it as soon as I got it! I didn't really like Vice City as much as I thought I would. I played the smeg out of 3, modded it multiple times and kept on playing. Hell, I've been playing it for about 5 years now! I was uber-psyched for Vice, bought it (DIDN'T pirate it), and played it out for a while. I wasn't that impressed. It felt more like a TC of GTA3 than a full-fledged new game. Don't get me wrong, it's tremendous fun, but I just found it to be too small and most of the beefs I had about 3 were still present in Vice. San An was a breath of fresh air (pun not intended) for me, what with the huge expanse of terrain, nature (OMG), RPG elements, etc. To each their own That being said, 4 looks like pure WIN drowned in 1337sauze. I saw some footage of the Euphoria physics engine and I must have crapped myself. |

Yeah, I thought I had heard somewhere that it was shorter game. Still rocks the casbah, though. Good! I hate playing a game through and be treated to a crappy ending. Especially when the game itself is so damn good. I was actually the opposite on GTA. I thought SanAndreas was just too big. Plus, I just didn't like the change up in main characters. I dunno. In addition, Vice City has the sweet ass 80's theme! Miami Vice mockery FTW! |

I'm more a console guy for my FPS myself(I know that sounds like sacrilege, but I play my consoles more than my PC) and it controls like a dream. Nearly as good as the console versions of the Unreal series, which to me is the mecha of all FPS control, both console and PC. |

Don't get me wrong, it is a GREAT game. I don't know if I would spend $50-$60 on it though. I got it as a Christmas gift. If you see it for $20-$30, or can get it as a gift, do it. Damn fine game it is, just short from what I heard. |

Yeah, it IS short. I wouldn't pay 50 bucks for it (then again, I am a cheapass and the most I spent on a game is $20+tax...). It's a great ride and the multiplayer kicks ass (there's FEAR Combat or at least a multiplayer component in the console version, right?), though. |

Call me. I've got the biggest in four counties. I just started playing Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow for the DS, and I have a slight problem that maybe you guys can help me with. The wife bought it for me for my birthday. She bought it off ebay from an Australian seller. The plastic case it came in was larger than the normal black DS game cases I am use to seeing, so I assume it is an Australian copy? It plays fine. Only problem, is that when I try to save it in a save room, it goes through the motions, but then gives me an error message saying "Save Failed". We tried it on both my DS and her's. I am not familiar with the coding and all that for foreign games and DVD's. You guys got any advice? We have already contacted the seller for a replacment, but will the replacement do the same thing? |

Me and a buddy of mine just got copies of Army of Two, and I will be signing up for Live today. I plan on tearing some shit up all weekend with my bud on this game. Despite all of the 7.5 to 8.0 ratings this game has gotten so far (which isn't bad in my book), it rates higher to me. I love this game, especially the co-op. Only negative so far is the lack of auto aiming, which certainly doesn't break the game for me. |
