 Univ of Colorado. Boulder are on a admit spree this Fall. Almost everybody i know who had applied there has got an admit. the aid scene as also the TA consideration will be communicated by mid-march. |

heya fellow earthlings! got 3 admits in a day!! (All in a day's work, you see!  :P)Here's my profile: GRE- 1280 -verbal(570) and Quant(710)..not too great,I know.. TOEFL- 109/120 Acads- BE(Comp)- Distinction- Final year....only :P No Work Experience Got admits from: University of Cincinatti (MIS) University of Florida,Gainesville (MIS) Syracuse University (MIS) Rejects: TAMU (MIS)....too ambitious anyway.. GRE-1210 (V480,Q730,AWM 5.0) TOEFL-267 (AWM 6.0) Acads: 7.74 CGPA (Annamalai Univ,TN) BE MECHANICAL work experience: 4 months in a mnc, pune admits: =Univ of Missouri Rolla- MS MECH, no funding =Oklahoma State University at Stilwater- MS MECH, 25% time TA paying around 550$ a month, full fee waive of nonresident part,insurance coverage... waiting for responses from: Iowa State University SUNY Buffalo Univ of Utah IIT Chicago |

got my first reject from SUNY at Buffalo cant figure out, how the buggers cud reject me, and that too on wat basis... the reason mentioned is I dont fit their program... |

rss, The basis for admissions decisions taken by many universities is downright cryptic; today a former student reported that he got an acceptance letter from UT Austin and a reject from NJIT on the same day SUNY Buffalo is not very high ranked and besides, you have other admits...Keep posting! |

Reject from University of California - Irvine. Admit from North Carolina State University. Reject from University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. |

Terrific! NCSU is pretty high ranked. As for UC Irvine and Twin cities, tough luck I guess, but these guys have a reputation for being very stingy with international admits. Congrats Chetan! |

University of Texas-Austin reject yesterday. Two guys (one of them a gal, actually :D) from MU have got admits from UMinn-TC ECE. Both have around the same profile as mine and Kor's. I've mailed 'em up asking for a reason. Hope Kor gets through, its a damn good univ. Irvine EECS reject was expected, they hardly admit ANYONE:D SKor got through in Rutgers University and Penn State University recently, he doesn't seem to have been here recently to post them. Both amazing admits, since he's apped for Wireless. Let's hope he cracks Austin! |

Yeah, Irvine is notorious for its high rate of rejection. I think it's unlikely that UMinn will give you a clear reason for the reject. They'll most probably resort to standard the euphemistic babble about your profile not being suitable for their program etc etc. Sandeep seems to have hit the jackpot! Here's wishing that he gets through to Austin

Admits from Pennstate, Usc, Ncsu Rejects from Umich, Cornell, UWisc, Columbia, Ucla, rpi(freakin' unbelievable) Waiting for Gatech, CMU, UTexas, Umaryland Had heard dsp/vlsi is killer hard to get admitted to,,but the spate of rejects this time in UoP is crazy...!
