Scene 1: Stripper’s Apartment

Beau tries to clean up evidence of him being there. There is one question, which keeps coming up in his mind. Where is the stripper? There must be a body. Beau can’t remember anything from the previous night. Beau pulls off the bloody linen from the bed because there may be traces of semen on it. He puts it in a black bag. Beau wipes off everywhere he touches. Beau opens the front door and peaks outside. There is no one. Beau quickly leaves with the bag.

Maggie stop when the traffic light turns red. She looks to her left. She is intrigued when she sees Beau coming out of an apartment building. She notices he has a black bag in his hands. Beau hurries over to his car. It is in the same spot where he left it. Beau opens his trunk and puts the bag in it. He closes it and gets into his car. Maggie doesn’t see that the traffic light has turned green. A car blows on its horn. Maggie starts to drive.

Beau arrives at his apartment. He puts the bag in his closet for the time being. All he wants to do is take a shower and wash away all of his troubles. Beau knows that it is only wishful thinking. Beau opens the hot water tap followed by the cold water. He plays with the taps until the water is just right. Beau gets out of his clothes but before he gets into the shower he picks up his clothes and goes to the closet where he hid the bag. He opens the bag and puts the clothes in the bag as well. He goes back to the bathroom. There is still blood on his body, which has become hard now. Beau starts to rub soap all over his body to get rid of the blood.

Scene 2: F1 Race Track

Tyler is standing in front of his racecar. Kelly pulls up.

Tyler: You’re late.

Kelly: No, you are early.

Tyler: Let’s get this over and done with.

Kelly: Fine with me. I’m going to enjoy putting dust in your eyes.

Tyler: We’ll see. Three laps.

Kelly: You’re on.

Tyler puts his helmet on and gets into his racecar. They drive to the starting point. Tyler revs his car. He looks over at Kelly and winks at her. Kelly revs her car. Tyler nods his head and both starts to race. Kelly is in the lead.

Kelly: Take that you jerk.

Tyler: Just giving you enough rope to hang yourself darling.

Just a Kelly starts to feel comfortable in first place Tyler goes past her.

Kelly: Son-of-a-bitch.

Kelly is now behind Tyler. They finish the first lap. Tyler is still in first place but Kelly is gaining up on Tyler. Kelly moves in next to Tyler. Tyler looks over at her. He smiles but she cannot see it because of the helmet. Tyler gives more gas and is once again first. The second lap finishes and it is now the final lap.

Kelly: It ain’t over yet, pretty boy.

Kelly gives more gas. She is gaining up on Tyler again. She passes Tyler. As Kelly is going around the final corner, she sees Mack standing near the finish line. Kelly sees the birth certificate in her mind. Kelly doesn’t notice that she is going slower. Tyler passes her and cross the finish line first. Kelly arrives at the finish line. She gets out and so does Tyler.

Tyler: Whoo hoo. I told you.

Kelly: Yes you did.

Mack: Morning guys. I see you had some fun on the track.

Tyler: Sweetness and I had a bet and she lost big time.

Kelly: I was distracted.

Tyler: Yeah by me crossing the finish line first.

Mack: You were great out there Kelly except for the last corner there. You cannot afford to get distracted. It could cost you a win.

Tyler: It already did.

Mack: You better be careful Tyler or that helmet won’t fit over your oh so growing head.

Kelly can’t help but giving a smile.

Mack: I’ll see you guys later.

Mack leaves.

Tyler: So where are you taking me for dinner. I always wanted to go to that fancy place up I Beverly Hills.

Kelly: All you are getting is a burger and French fries at a roadhouse.

Tyler: As long as you are paying babe.

Kelly hits Tyler in the stomach with her helmet.

Kelly: Don’t call me babe.

Kelly gets back into her racecar and drives off.

Scene 3: Hospital

The doctor enters Adam’s room. Tricia is there as well.

Doctor: I have some good news for you. You will be able to go home tomorrow but you still need your physical therapy everyday.

Tricia: That is good news isn’t it honey.

Adam: Whatever.

The doctor leaves.

Tricia: You should be happy. You are coming home.

Adam: To what?

Tricia: Back to me.

Adam: Whoopee.

Tricia: I really don’t understand your attitude towards me.

Adam: Maybe because I am sick and tired of your wining everyday. Can’t a guy have some piece and quiet? You’re like a freaking fly around shi…

Tricia: Don’t even dare completing the sentence. I have been here supporting you and this is what I get in return.

Adam: If you are looking for a gold medal you are at the wrong place.

Tricia: What happened to you? You are not the man I fell in love with.

Adam: Why don’t you go and find a better one then.

Tricia: I can’t talk to you when you are like this. I’ll come back tomorrow to pick you up.

Tricia walks to the door.

Adam: Don’t bother. I will find my own ride.

Tricia opens the door and leaves.

Scene 4: Beau’s Apartment

Beau is startled when there is a knock on the door.

Mack: Beau it’s Mack are you home.

Beau opens the door. Mack enters.

Mack: I’ve left messages. Did you get them?

Beau: I haven’t checked for messages yet.

Mack: Where have you been?

Beau: I had an urgent family matter to attend. I am sorry I should have called but my cell’s battery died on me and I forgot my charger at home.

Mack: Is everything okay with your family.

Beau: Yeah, it’s sorted.

Mack: You look a bit disoriented.

Beau: It’s been crazy. Hadn’t had chance to find my feet yet.

Mack: You’ll tell me if you need help.

Beau: Of course I will.

Mack: Okay. I’ll see you tomorrow on the racetrack then.

Beau: I’ll be there.

Mack leaves. Beau takes a seat on the couch. He switches on the TV and goes through the channels to see if there is any news on what happened but there is nothing. Beau switches of the TV and throws the remote on the coffee table standing in the middle of the room.

Scene 5: Parker Residents

Nick arrives back home.

Claire comes down stairs.

Claire: You’re home early.

Nick: I did a few laps. I am definitely out of shape. I will have to work extra hard.

Claire: If anyone can do it you can.

Nick: I want to ask Craig if he’ll do some laps with me. He is one of the best at F1.

Claire: That reminds me. His wife Maggie was here. She invited us for dinner or barbeque. I can’t remember.

Nick: What did you say?

Claire: I told her things were a bit hectic around here. It’s not if I was lying. You are busy getting your foot back into racing and I want to establish my practice.

Nick: How is that going?

Claire: I found some office space. All I can hope for now is clients.

Nick: They’ll come.

Claire: I hope so.

Nick: I think we should accept Maggie’s dinner invitation.

Claire: Okay I will make the call.

Claire gets her phone and calls Maggie.

Claire: Hallo Maggie it’s Claire…Fine and you…That’s great. Listen I talked to Nick and we accept your dinner invitation…Friday night sound fine…Is there anything we could bring…We cannot show up empty handed. We will bring the wine…7pm is fine…We’ll see you then…Bye.

Claire puts down her phone.

Claire: (Jokingly) If I have to listen to soap opera stories I am going to kill you.

Nick smiles. Claire heads back up stairs.

Scene 6: Stephanie’s Hotel Room

There is a knock. Stephanie opens. It’s Nathan.

Stephanie: What are you doing here?

Nathan: I want to apologize.

Stephanie: Apologize?

Nathan: I’ve been acting like a real jerk.

Stephanie invites him in.

Stephanie: Accepted.

Nathan: If I may ask what is the deal with you and racecar driver’s?

Stephanie: They are all jerks.

Nathan: Your father was one as well.

Stephanie: He is a jerk as well.

Nathan: You seem to have this wall build around you and you don’t want anybody to get close.

Stephanie: You want to know what I have against racecar drivers.

Nathan: Please do tell.

Stephanie: To you guys it’s either love or race and it’s never love. I saw what it did to my mother. My father loved racing more than her. My mother made the mistake of giving my father the ultimatum of love or race. He chose racing. I promised myself I will never go out with a racer.

Nathan: Not all race drivers are bad.

Stephanie: At the end of the day. Racing is all that matters. It’s about being number one on that podium. Don’t tell me it isn’t so. I appreciate you coming by but I have to get my article of Nick Parker ready.

Nathan: Of course. I’ll see you around.

Nathan leaves. Stephanie goes back to her computer and start working on her article.

Scene 7: The Beach

There is a beach party. Jason parks his car. He gets out of the car. His shirt is unbuttoned and he has shorts on. Jason goes to where the party is. From out of a corner, Allison steps out. She smiles as she follows Jason to the beach. Allison makes her way to the bar. She stands in a spot she knows will get Jason’s attention. Jason sees her and walks up to her.

Jason: You were the last person I suspected seeing here. So I guess this is fate.

Allison: Maybe.

Jason: This must be the gods telling us to go on a date.

Allison: You are very pushy.

Jason: I like what I see and I won’t give up until I have it.

Allison: Determination. I like that but I am not a thing you can toss aside when you’re done.

Jason: I would never do that to you.

Allison: So say all the Casanovas. Sorry Jason but you are not my type.

Allison takes her drink and walks away. Jason follows her.

Jason: What is your type?

Allison: Not you.

Jason: That isn’t answering my question.

Allison: I don’t have to answer it.

Jason: You’re very hard to read.

Allison: And you are way to easy.

Jason: What should a guy do to impress you?

Allison: Do you really think I am going to make it easy for you?

Jason: You are a real tease.

Allison: 555 273 1092

Jason: What’s that?

Allison: My phone number. If you are really serious about me, you’ll remember it. Give me a call.

Allison walks away. Her phone rings. She answers it.

Jason: I am serious.

Allison turns around and sees Jason on his phone.

Allison: You want to take me out. I’ll meet you at Pins & Needles tomorrow night.

Jason: It’s a date.

Allison hangs up. She smiles and walks away.

Scene 8: Hanson Residents

Maggie is busy learning her words for the next episode of the soap she is in. The television is on but the volume is on mute. Maggie’s attention is drawn to the TV when she sees police and a reporter standing in front of the building she saw Beau came out of earlier. She puts the volume back on.

Reporter: I am standing in front of the apartment building where an alleged murder took place. No body was found and the police have no leads. If anyone has any leads, which may lead to an arrest or have more information please contact…

Maggie switches of the TV. Maggie gets a flashback where she sees Beau leaving the apartment building with a black bag.

Maggie: What have you done, Beau?

uh oh. Beau is in trouble.
I really like the pacing to this show.
Not too fast, but every episode a little reveal happens. I guess I am just used to your Temptation pacing, steady all week long and then BAM on Friday!
Are we going to see the dinner with Claire/Nick and Maggie/Richard (I think that his name, I am still working on that part). Cause I CANT WAIT.
Adam is an asshole. I cant wait for Tricia to tell him where to shove it.
Tyler is actually growing on me, I loved his scene today!
All around good work!

Today's episode was short with a scene. Yes you will see the dinner. Maggie's husband is Craig. Sam's husband is Richard. No problemo on the names. It's difficult remembering the names at first.

Tricia and Adam probably seem as two outsiders with no use as to fill the gap. This story will make better sense later.

I am hoping to let the pacing on this show go a bit faster. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way.

I have to put the show on hiatus for the next couple of weeks because I have to get Bad Moon and the new Melrose on track.
