As in a guy that would bring you beer so you didn't have to go to the pub. As for the general conversation.. Smoking Ban good. They did it in Germany a year ago. One of the best things ever. Agree with Dark that we shouldn't HAVE to drink to be social. But we also shouldn't be PREVENTED from it either. As an American I can tell you from the history books that trying to stop alcohol completely doesn't work. It just makes it a society taboo, so underage kids drink it more unsupervised and when you can be legal you go insane for a few years. Made all the more dangerous by the fact we have to drive everywhere. So IMO the best point is education and removing stigma. Don't make it taboo, then people want it more, and also don't make it weird to not drink. I know every country has issues with alcohol related problems, but I have been really impressed on average with Germany in that respect. Most people above 18 drink with food and over an entire night. And really I think those that are going to cause problems with Alcohol are fairly likely to cause problems without it too. Ok, soapbox over. Still disappointed there is no such thing as a Beer Taxi.
