Previous Guilds: On horde i have been in Vis Maior. The reson i left that guild is becuase of the low rate for shows. allso, 1 days after i joined i alrleady had to raid lead mimiron's hardmode with a group that could not control the fires that appeared. i left on good standings and im still in contact with some of theyre members. i have been alliance first but i transferred to horde becuase of the maturity that is shown in raids/battlegrounds and social all around. on alliance i have been in 2 guilds called Am i bovvered and Nemuri. now.. the reason that i have left Am i bovvered is the same reson as in vis maior, i joined, people had a low rate of showing up and the raids were slow cus of lack of knowledge of the tactics. allso a guild merging whas inp rgoress at that time and that is a no-go for me. now, with Nemuri its a whole other story. i left that guild becuase i only got to raid once or twice a week once in a 25 man and once in a 10 man (i had to lea the 10 man raid). when i played on Chamber of aspects i got used to raiding 4-5 days a week from 20:00-24:00. i understand that the guilds on this realm are no that hardcore but i have to consider that it whas all progress raids and that it requires that much raiding. right now theres not that much to raid in that takes more then 3-4 days i completely understand that and i am willnig to cut down on hardcore raiding and jus raid iwth a professional and social fun group. Why did you leave your previous guild?: man, i wish i read this question earlyer before i answered the question above ^^. not sure if its a bad ting if i dont answer this since i went through this in my previous question ^^ If accepted, would you be interested in raids?: yes, i come from guilds (hardcore and softcore) that had a good progress, good atmosphere and i like to contineu that. If your previous answer was Yes, please fill the next questions, if No, skip to the Typical weekly playtime part. Are you available to raid Thursday, Sunday and Monday between at least 20:00 - 00:00 servertime (these are our scheduled raid times, however we do schedule raids most nights using the ingame calendar)?: i have nothing else to do then gaming so yeah, i am available. but i have to mention this, i am away for the weekend cus of a birthday of my grandmother and im sleeping over there with my parents since its just to big of a drive to go up and down there. but the problem is, my laptop is not able to run 10 man raids and i cant bring my desktop since there is no place for it and my grandparents pc is a bit outdated for WoW or any kind of gaming. but this is the only issue for me this year. Explain how your class/spec works in a raid situation: in my eyes elemental shamans have to rotations. High haste rotation and low haste rotation *cracks knuckles* take the high haste for instance (my style). with this rotation i do not need to use chain lightning on bosses(single target) becuase my lightning botls are a fast cast. allso not using chain lighting prevents me from losing to much mana during a long fight (beasts 25 man hardmode). The low haste rotation requires you to use chainlightning becuase of its casting speed. but due to this you have to use thunderstorm wich makes you lose casting time wich can be critical on some fights. allso my spec is based on endurance and pumping out the max i can do as a elemental shaman in my current gear. How long have you played wow and how long have you played your character? i have been playing woW for 3-4 years now and this toon im applying with in 61 days and 6 hours old. this doesnt sound like much but hey, i started raiding with my shaman when wotlk came out. What buffs/potions/elixirs would you use in a raid situation, to further enhance your performance and why?: The totem i use depends on howmany or what shaman i have in the group and what buffs i get. my main totems usually are Str of earth, totem of wrath mana spring totem and wrath of air totem. when a palladin gives me improved wisdom, i put down a healing stream totem. when a DK uses hes horn i use stoneskin totem. all this depends on the raid buffs and classes that are in the raid. Why should you get a raid spot?: I believe that i am a good addition to the raid groups becuase of my experience in raids, my personal progression and i am very aware of what is happening during a raid. allso i have been raidleading for a while for Nemuri in some raids becuase i knew all tactics and mechanics of the fights, i know my classes, i know what possible and whats not and i believe if i get offered a trial spot that you gain a very good elemental shaman that tries to improve himself and raids by giving feedback whenever asked for it. Typical weekly playtime; We like our members to be actively involved in guild activities as much as possible: since im online pretty much 85% of the day i can be involved in anything you want me to, hell i'd even bend over if you buy me dinner first! :D. allso i love socializing with people in and outside the guild, it keeps the game fun and interesting. Age (Being over 18 years of age is a plus): currently i am 19 years old and ill be 20 on the 12th of december Location: i am a resident of the Netherlands located in limburgp Reference (Having at least 1 reference from a current full guild member is a bonus): unfortunetly i am not formilliar with any1 in this guild. i would love to speak with some1 of Detrimentum and getting to know a few members. hereby i invite you all ^^ Do you have a stable internet connection?: Yes, i do have a very stable i-net connection, ive never DC'ed during a fight unless theres some server instabillity. Extra information about yourself: as you know, im Bryan, 19 years old and my nr1. hobby of all time is gaming. if you count al lgames together i have ever played on all consoles i owned, you can keep counting till 200+. the most kind of games i played are mmo, mmorpg and FPS. i am not going to list any games ive played becuase i would be busy for 2 days. ^^ allso, i am born with a handicap wich prevents me from any work at this time. if you require more info about this handicap, feel free to ask its nothing serious that affects my gaming. Thanks for the app! It is always nice to see someone putting a great deal of effort in filling in the various questions. Also, although the text coloring was kinda disco-meets-bloody-horrormovie it was at least a new touch. I'm sure you know already that Detrimentum is a casual raiding guild. This means that you don't need to raid x amount of raids each week, but WHEN raiding we expect hardcore mentality. In practice, this means that since we have a "sign up if available" kind of system, sometimes a raid might be cancelled (luckily this barely happens anymore thanks to dedicated raiders <3). What I'm trying to say, is that you are now applying to a casual guild and not a hardcore guild. We try to make raiding a laugh rather than an obligation. Don't get me wrong, we do enjoy beating those new encounters, but we enjoy the social aspect of the game just as much. Anyway, enough with the rambling... We'll get back to you! GL with the app! don't be alarmed, if i didnt know this i would not have applied. i know that it's a casual raiding guild i like be a part for a good raiding team just as much as a social team. have fun deeming me worthy. ^^ |
