Sorry to double-post, but I have a question:

How is Lazarus "motioning" for everyone to run?

Because, if it's Sign Language...Peter doesn't have Sign Language (also, the enemy soldiers are likely to see it).

I am sure he will pick up the idea when Axel nearly drags him away.

Anyone know what's up with Hippie? I'm gonna wait until later today to see if she gets a post in. But then I've got to post.

I'd like it a lot better if i had a gun. Or could run. As it stands, i'm going to have to think on it a minute.

Question:

I know it's a little late for me to do so this round, but how much "fire" is "heavy fire"?

Namely, if Peter draws his gun and starts bursting at the enemy, he can fire three rounds as a short burst or six rounds as a long (two attacks) burst. If he focuses this on one person, is it sufficient suppressive fire to impose the -6 "shooting wild" penalty? What if he spreads it out over the group?

And remember, the skills that you learned playing whack-a-mole do not cross over to zombie combat. Don't punch the zombies, shoot them or hit them with something HARD.

Yes, preferably in the face. That way, if they remind you of someone you once cared about they won't any more. Their face will be gone.

Alright. Here's what i *want* to do: jump onto a guy from the tree. But i'm having trouble determining what maneuver that would be considered (like it changes much, but need to figure out if it's a one- or two-action move). Is it a one-action leap attack? Or do i need to attempt a two-action body block/tackle maneuver? I'm not really 'blocking' but kind of jumping/falling, which raises another question: do fall damage rules apply? I'm not falling accidentally, more jumping down on purpose, so i'm not really sure.

I would consider it a leap attack (1 action) and full damage would apply.

For the third time:

Dead Reign Sourcebook, Pg. 173, Section "STEP 3: Defender May Parry, Dodge or Entangle", Paragraph 4:

Quote:

Defending by dodging or entangling means automatically giving up the next melee attack [...] Each dodge uses up one of the character's own attacks per melee round. So constantly dodging means the defender has no opportunity to attack.

Thus, by vanilla rules, Peter can do nothing during his attack. If there are house rules in place changing this, please let me know.

Snickers! Thanks for the rules review. :D

Regardless, I'm asking you for a post. I need to know what Peters is doing so I can continue... did he dodge and then stop and hide? Did he dodge and continue running? That sort of thing.

Yeah, I'd tend to think that jumping from the tree and landing on a guy counts as one attack but at that point it'll take another attack for her to get up (should she try to) essentially making it a two attack move. With her strength I doubt a fall from a tree (assuming she's not at the very top) would do any damage to her, though it might hurt the guy she lands on... (here's hoping)

My apologies. I had assumed that "giving up my attack" meant I could take no actions, but I guess Palladium has confused me again. For future reference, what sort of actions can I take (or not take, if the list is shorter) immediately after dodging?

Most of what i want to do to this guy can be done on the ground.

Ooh, that sounds dirty. ;)

Hippie - I like your style!

Snickers - thanks. Mostly I just needed to know intention. I don't always follow the PB rules verbatim. The flow of the gameplay is more important to me in most circumstances.
