Alright, obnoxious over-analytical questioning the GM time: what do you mean by "you both lose 1 action for this melee"? Is it any one action (such as the last one), meaning that i have 4 instead of my usual 5, but can act this turn? Or does it mean i lose my next turn, as though with a dodge? And do i still lose mine if i plan to do something on the ground? Or does it mean that the length of the fall cost me extra time regardless?

Those are good questions. I didn't find anything specific in the rules (go figure) so this approach would make the most sense (to me anyways):

1. if you plan to continue an attack from the ground, then the lost action would (could) occur at the end of the melee round.
2. if you plan to get up first and then continue the attack, the lost action occurs this next action.

Timing during combat is tricky. :P It can really plague a GM. The first combat I ran I used a chart to determine attack order based on the number of attacks. Something like that could work well here. That was a LOT of work though, so now I just say "everybody has 4 turns, divide your attacks evenly between em'", which works well in a game where most players have at least 5 attacks, but might not help a lot in DR.

Axel and Peter - the soldiers disappear as they move back to the beach. Moments later you see a helicopter flying overhead going north. You will continue to post in this thread. What do you do?

LOOT THE BODIES! I hate seeing people miss opportunities for equipment, cash, and info! Especially when I'm GMing. Garek killed two, a brief inspection of the battle scene should reveal this (provided they left their dead behind, and since they have not had qualms about leaving their living men behind in the past...). BOOM, HEADSHOT!

Sorry gang. I took a unexpected trip to San Diego last weekend to get out of the 115 degree heat here in Arizona. I'll be getting a post up shortly.

I lucked out. A friend of mine was headed to San Diego so I jumped in with her. Made for a very inexpensive respite from the desert heat. Went to the Wild Animal Park, sunset on the beach, ran the dog at the dog park, vineyard, lunch with the godfather... it was a blast.

Next time your friend is heading to San Diego, tell her to swing by China and pick me up! :p

One year at least, or so my contract states. Do I get bonus exp for being the first to catch the "Planet of the Apes" reference? You can tell I'm not GMing right now simply by the way invisible castle treats me.

Just responding to the emotions being stirred up by the scene between Zara and Laz. Excellent stuff!

Sorry to interrupt the moment, but I just want to clarify your expectations:

Right now, I want to remain unseen by the zombies. Would you like me to roll Prowl now, or wait until prompted?
