Happens, school should take priority over gaming! I've been there. We'll adapt. I know the both of you (d and Vio) are pretty busy and not able to post as much as some others, so I think having two groups in my AR game will help. Sure, Lunar's character is in charge of the group you're in, but he and I have a separate side RP to sate his 20 post per day habit. To be fair, I post almost as much as he does too... Anyway, it's fortunate that your characters get along well and that you both happen to be busy ATM, makes it easier for me to make things work for everybody! PS. Garek might be a tough guy, but he doesn't want to die! lol |

Just take it as a kindness. If he fast forwards your character to being reunited with our characters, it means that your character doesn't have to get beaten up in-between. |

Mostly i just don't know what i'm supposed to do next. None of the narrative matches my original intentions, nor does it reflect anything the character has done up until this point. She wouldn't have stopped what she was doing just because she heard gunshots; those are pretty much a constant given the circumstances. She wouldn't have stopped attacking zombies just because their attention was elsewhere. In fact, that's one of few breaks she's caught so far, so she would have taken advantage and tried to set one on fire in earnest. She probably would have also kicked the disabled one while it was down. Would she have hesitated? Maybe, but i think that's something that would have been settled by a new initiative roll (by then it would probably be time for another round anyway). Yes, my character would have left the house, but i don't think she would have waited for the big strong soldier to tell her that it was time. More likely, she would have been doing what i said above, attacking zombies without pause, maybe even driving them straight toward the guy with the gun, and encouraging the others with to leave the building while she helped the new arrival keep the zombies distracted. So as you can see, my problem isn't really that things got pushed ahead, or my big combat scene was abruptly cut from the script (though those things do, of course, annoy me) but that i feel like i'm supposed to change my character pretty much completely now to fit what just happened. No one's saying that, but it seems like a lot of inconsistencies to just ignore and try to change back casually. |

Ok. So Laz and Garek are following the tank to the armory...? and therefore will take their chances with the airstrike...? Just to clarify: the tank is en route to the armory as planned. It is Jericho (not a guy on the tank as Beo's last post suggests) that is urging you to high-tail it out of town. |

That was my original plan! But even with the extra damage, Pally zombies take reduced damage from blunt force or something, so the way the numbers work out, i would do much better with a gun. Unless i start pushing over the burning buildings or something

Thanks for reminding me about Zara's SN strength. I'd forgotten. So the latter damage roll will be used and, yes, the zombie head is obliterated. FYI - I have not used the damage reduction for hand-to-hand attacks on zombies because I think it'is unnecessary. Same with the 'low caliber guns do half damage' bit. Nah. |
