Name: Nigel Eugene Phillips

Occupation: Medical Doctor

PCC: Psychic Healer

Physical Description: A very tall and very skinny young man in his early 20's with light brown hair of a professional length and styling. His build is that of an avid runner and very lean. He has dark brown eyes full of youthful energy, but with a hint of worry to them also.

Background: N.E. Phillips was born in Burgh Le Marsh in East Lindsey, England. He had always expressed a deep fascination with the human body and helping out when someone was injured at home. This nurturing nature further developed into a desire to learn medicine.

Young N.E. Phillips exhibited a profound intellect and advanced very quickly through school and his studies, often skipping entire grades to keep up with his rapid ability to learn. He was accepted to the UC Davis School of Medicine in the United States at the age of 13.

He has since gone on to establish a lucrative private practice with very positive referrals from his patients. He is known as a skilled and caring doctor who doesn't take his patients maladies lightly; careful to give everything a look before he gives a clean bill of health. So far, this attention to detail has served him and his business well.

I saw him again for the first time since I was 13 and it scared me half to death. I think it had something to do with that exorcism I performed last week. It was a rough time and I got really hurt when the girl broke free of her restraints. I've never felt so alone and vulnerable in my own house, unable to wrestle her back into her restraints despite the amount of tranquilizers I had to use! Never again will I do this kind of thing solo. I was a fool for even trying to use these stupid 'powers' anyways. Isn't this why I became a doctor in the first place, so I wouldn't have to be weird in order to heal?

My grandfather came to me. I've missed him the long years since he passed, but to say I was happy to see him yesterday might be an overstatement. Despite my fear (and apparent revulsion) he did tell me exactly what I needed to hear concerning that exorcism.

"It's OK, you did the right thing."

And then he was gone. I wish I could've talked to him. I want to believe him. I just wish I had his strength.

I had to do some serious digging at the office to find the girl's file. Figured it would do me well to save this for posterity. It's just a preliminary screening from her first visit and is what eventually led to a violent exorcism.

I just got a call from an associate of mine concerning a peculiar case of affliction. He got me in touch with a certain friend of the afflicted, let's call him 'E' for now. Whatever this is, it sounds urgent and I'm already on my way.

I would've left sooner, but I just can't stop the real world at a whim! I pray I'm not too late.

Results of Personality Test

Type: INTJ "Mastermind"
-Introverted: 33%
-Intuitive: 50%
-Thinking: 12%
-Judging: 100%

Type Description: Complex operations involve many steps or stages, one following another in a necessary progression, and Masterminds are naturally able to grasp how each one leads to the next, and to prepare alternatives for difficulties that are likely to arise any step of the way. Trying to anticipate every contingency, Masterminds never set off on their current project without a Plan A firmly in mind, but they are always prepared to switch to Plan B or C or D if need be.

Masterminds are rare, comprising no more than, say, one percent of the population, and they are rarely encountered outside their office, factory, school, or laboratory. Although they are highly capable leaders, Masterminds are not at all eager to take command, preferring to stay in the background until others demonstrate their inability to lead. Once they take charge, however, they are thoroughgoing pragmatists. Masterminds do not feel bound by established rules and procedures, and traditional authority does not impress them, nor do slogans or catchwords. Only ideas that make sense to them are adopted; those that don't, aren't, no matter who thought of them. Remember, their aim is always maximum efficiency.

In their careers, Masterminds usually rise to positions of responsibility, for they work long and hard and are dedicated in their pursuit of goals, sparing neither their own time and effort nor that of their colleagues and employees. Problem-solving is highly stimulating to Masterminds, who love responding to tangled systems that require careful sorting out. Ordinarily, they verbalize the positive and avoid comments of a negative nature; they are more interested in moving an organization forward than dwelling on mistakes of the past.

Masterminds tend to be much more definite and self-confident than other Rationals, having usually developed a very strong will. Decisions come easily to them; in fact, they can hardly rest until they have things settled and decided. But before they decide anything, they must do the research. Masterminds are highly theoretical, but they insist on looking at all available data before they embrace an idea, and they are suspicious of any statement that is based on shoddy research, or that is not checked against reality.
