You will use the following format for posts that take place during combat. Please remember to use Invisible Castle for all dice rolls. You must register with the site so that you can input the campaign name 'BTS2' in each roll, as well as your character's name. Please show the math that results in the roll total. Post Format: The typical post... your action (including any rolls I ask you for - initiative, perception, etc.). During combat, a brief sentence spoken by the PC can be included with each action if you want (all dialogue should be enclosed in quotation marks). Remember that each action occurs in a matter of a few seconds (a melee round is 15 seconds long). Internal monologue can be more substantial (please use italics to signify internal monologue/thoughts. Also include any applicable skill checks (include the word 'PASS' or 'FAIL' as appropriate). Statistics go at the end of the post. Include: -APM (current/total) -Current HP/SDC -Current ISP/PPE (if relevant) -Current Armor SDC (if applicable) -Current Weapon & Ammo -Any CONSTANT EFFECTS (i.e., they are ALWAYS on and require no action on your part) Edited by dhorn, Mar 3 2010, 11:29 PM.

I was reading some of the threads over at EU and thought it might be good to structure things a bit more. Honestly, I think that it will help me keep track of things better. That's my main motivation. |

*nods* Having played on EU since 2004, I agree that is a good way to keep track of things during combat posts.

I use 'Notepad'. It's literally the No. 2 pencil of computer programs, but it works! |
