Name: Vargus Janova Occupation: Weapons Engineer PCC: Genius Appearance: 18 dirty blonde hair, Caucasian, green/brown eyes, lanky and relatively thin, has an air of being bored whenever he’s not researching or making something Personality: Polite, and slightly cold, always seems bored, and not very driven when it comes to doing anything, except for making something new, or researching something new to him. When he is doing this, he becomes obsessive and changes personality to a hyperactive easily annoyed workaholic, who will work almost constantly to get something done. He will do absolutely anything for his friends. He tries to protect and help colleagues, but isn’t too shaken up if they are hurt or die. Strangers and people he doesn’t like could be being tortured in front of him and he wouldn’t care, and may even offer some tips to the torturer Back Ground: Vargus had been born in a quite suburb in Detroit. It had been nice there, with normal weather and nice people, but he hadn’t had a good childhood. His parents were never there, and when they were, they shrugged him off like some dog they had to feed. When he began going to school, his parents wouldn’t pay the school fees, so he couldn’t go on any class trips and had to borrow the minimum of school supplies. One day in grade 2 though, a boy in Vargus’s class invited Vargus over to his house. It was the first friend Vargus had ever had, and he played almost every day with Kyle after that. After that though, Vargus began to excel at all academics at an exponential rate. By the age of 10 he had graduated high school. Everyone he met who knew of him was jealous, spiteful and even suspicious of his talent. Even his own workaholic parents seemed to hate his intelligence. He became cold, and spiteful himself, beginning to hate everyone around him, except for Kyle. Kyle was always his best and only friend, and never even gave him a dirty look for being smart. In fact he often asked Vargus to help teach him. It was shortly after Vargus obtained a PHD from MIT at the age of 12 that it happened. Vargus had been betting on almost everything in order to gain the money to get through University. It had been going well due to his analytical ability, and intelligence, but finally luck played its part and Vargus lost a particularly big bet, and had already spent the money on text books. When they betting ‘Agency’ came to collect, they found a small boy and his friend. After getting over their initial disbelief, they threatened Vargus’s friend’s life and demanded compensation. Vargus frantically scrambled to find something in his house to give in return, but his parents had nothing even close to the value he needed. He broke into tears, and one of the men pulled the trigger on Kyle, but the gun jammed. Looking closer, Vargus noticed the gun was in great disrepair, and before anyone could react, he had grabbed the gun, completely disassembled, inspected and reassembled it. After he explained the problem and how to fix it, he remembered the situation and an idea stuck him. “I could work for you!” he exclaimed, and after that, while taking university off to the side, he made and maintained the weapons of a large Detroit gang. They never payed him, but they provided the materials, he found the work fulfilling, and didn’t care how the guns were used. It was one day when he was working in his laboratory that he heard the gangsters talking about a recent Vampire movie, and he had the idea. Working quickly he had assembled a semi automatic, gas powered, pencil launcher, the size of a pistol and could punch the pencils through a piece of plywood. It didn’t have very good range though. After that, he found it wildly fun to simply design and build weapons to kill mythical creatures, with few and random weaknesses. After a time, the gang got tired of it, destroyed some of the weapons, the ones that weren’t actually useful as weapons and kicked him to the curb. Barely noticing, Vargus quickly applied for a job at a weapons development company, but was declined for associating with criminals. He managed to find a steady job developing paintball guns though. Sadly, Kyle had been shot by the gangsters Vargus had worked for, shortly after Vargus had been thrown out, because Kyle had come looking for him at their hideout. Grief stricken Vargus had cut a bloody swath through their ranks, with as much armament as he could produce. After barely escaping with his life, he had fled to Mineapolis, and had begun working for an engineering firm. That was at 16. He seemed to have evaded his past and is now 18 and beginning to take up his hobby of inventing supernatural fighting weapons once more. |

Results of Personality Test: INTJ "MasterMind" Introverted44 Intuitive 25 Thinking 62 Judging 11 All Rationals are good at planning operations, but Masterminds are head and shoulders above all the rest in contingency planning. Complex operations involve many steps or stages, one following another in a necessary progression, and Masterminds are naturally able to grasp how each one leads to the next, and to prepare alternatives for difficulties that are likely to arise any step of the way. Trying to anticipate every contingency, Masterminds never set off on their current project without a Plan A firmly in mind, but they are always prepared to switch to Plan B or C or D if need be.Masterminds are rare, comprising no more than, say, one percent of the population, and they are rarely encountered outside their office, factory, school, or laboratory. Although they are highly capable leaders, Masterminds are not at all eager to take command, preferring to stay in the background until others demonstrate their inability to lead. Once they take charge, however, they are thoroughgoing pragmatists. Masterminds are certain that efficiency is indispensable in a well-run organization, and if they encounter inefficiency-any waste of human and material resources-they are quick to realign operations and reassign personnel. Masterminds do not feel bound by established rules and procedures, and traditional authority does not impress them, nor do slogans or catchwords. Only ideas that make sense to them are adopted; those that don't, aren't, no matter who thought of them. Remember, their aim is always maximum efficiency. In their careers, Masterminds usually rise to positions of responsibility, for they work long and hard and are dedicated in their pursuit of goals, sparing neither their own time and effort nor that of their colleagues and employees. Problem-solving is highly stimulating to Masterminds, who love responding to tangled systems that require careful sorting out. Ordinarily, they verbalize the positive and avoid comments of a negative nature; they are more interested in moving an organization forward than dwelling on mistakes of the past. Masterminds tend to be much more definite and self-confident than other Rationals, having usually developed a very strong will. Decisions come easily to them; in fact, they can hardly rest until they have things settled and decided. But before they decide anything, they must do the research. Masterminds are highly theoretical, but they insist on looking at all available data before they embrace an idea. Edited by Arthotus, Mar 27 2010, 11:32 AM.
